If you have been with us before, welcome back! If this will be your first time checking out Bella Vista, thank you for joining us.
Here is a short description of our property if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email us we love to speak to our visitors directly. Bella Vista is a family-owned vacation property that sleeps between 12- 16 people & you can not have any more than 18 people (including children) at any given time.
Come enjoy it for the weekend or holidays and make memories to last a lifetime! Forget about a hotel room in crowded noisy Manhattan & bring your friends or family just 90 minutes upstate and make memories for such a low rate (2-night minimum -3 nights at different times if year holiday pricing differs) which includes 5 bedrooms ~ 5th Bedroom opens into a finished basement. Children can be accommodated in many different ways (including single beds, sleeping bunk beds & aero beds.
There is a rainbow play system on our property in our front yard. We are located on 10 acres of land with a large grass area for the kids to run & play. Check-in at 3pm and check out at 11 am (email to pre-approve other time arrangements in advance if available).
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO SMOKING inside of the home & only small dogs under 20 pounds are permitted for a small fee. Please care for them in our home as you would in your own.
10% Cancelation fee on all reservations once reserved. Within 30 days before check-in get 70% refunded. Cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund. The estate overlooks the Hudson Valley & Catskill Mountains & is located less than 30 minutes from downhill skiing and hiking in the Catskill Mountains and 15 minutes from the elevated Walkway Over The Hudson with its miles of paved bike trails connecting Poughkeepsie to New Paltz. Other nearby hiking, cross-country skiing and paddling opportunities are the Black Creek Forest Preserve, Shaupeneak Ridge, John Burrough's Slabsides, Mohonk Preserve, Minewaska State Park the Wallkill and Rondout Creeks, Horse back riding and of course, the Hudson River. There is really so much to do & see.

Hidden Hudson Gem
Amazing place for our family reunion, lots of indoor and outdoor space for all to enjoy. The kitchen was definitely one of the best we have experienced on VRBO.

Great place for families and quiet time
This is a large house, meticulously decorated and cared for, in a spectacular location. The house is on a large plot of wooded land with a lot of outdoor space, including a lawn, playset, firepit, grill, deck and porches facing East and West. Spectacular sunsets and mountain views. The house is full of amenities and the hosts responded almost instantaneously to text messages asking questions.

You'll like it all
House is great. View out the back from the deck is wonderful. We stayed 3 nights with family and the house served us so well and contributed to a meaningful wedding trip. Hosts are awesome - super responsive, kind, helpful. I left a small charger and cable at the house and texted the host when I got home not expecting they would be able to send it to me - they did! And did it with a kind, generous attitude. Great house, and you’re in for a great rental experience.

Great stay
House was so nice, the pictures don’t do it justice. I stayed there with my family(9) and never felt crowded. The view is absolutely incredible. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful home!
The host was very responsive and kind! The home is beautiful, clean, had a stocked kitchen (basic necessities), and plenty of linen and towels. Our group really enjoyed the stay and would totally come back! One small thing to note is that one of the bedroom is the basement, which is finished and we’ll equipped. It wasn’t a problem for us because it was like a second living room and nice to have the additional handout space other than the main living room. Thank you!

I could not have asked for better!!!
I and my family stay in this home for my father's funeral and repast. The accommodations were amazing... the views serene... and the space was just what we needed. The house was fully stocked from dishware to spices. The host was kind and gracious during our time of sorrow and the checkin and out process was clear and concise. It felt like home away from home...

Beautiful property! We will be back!
This house was amazing!! I stayed for a long weekend with a group of 7 friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was a delightful experience. The huge kitchen is absolutely stocked with anything you could ever need for cooking, the bedrooms are lovely and the views from the balconies are to die for, especially at sunset. The plan for the weekend included activities around NY but we ended up skipping a lot of them in favor of staying in and enjoying this gorgeous property and cozy house. Even on a rainy day we had the best time snuggling up by the fireplace.
The only negative I can think of is that a couple alarms started beeping when we were there. When we arrived there was a smoke alarm beeping loudly and a couple days later a carbon monoxide sensor started going off. Both gave us a bit of a scare but we quickly noticed that they just needed new batteries which was easily handled. Also, ticks and other bugs were definitely present in and outside the house but this is to be expected in the middle of the woods.

Perfection!
This was the fourth year my friends and I rented this house for our girls getaway. We love the house. It fits so many people comfortably and nothing beats the view!

Beautiful setting and location
We enjoyed a peaceful stay at Bella Vista. The view from the back deck is beautiful, and we especially appreciated the lovely sunsets. The location is perfect, with many activities close by. The house is spacious and well equipped for a family gathering.
