Description

Judy’s Guest house is a cozy home-like setting halfway between Ithaca and Trumansburg, situated on two landscaped acres with lots of lawn for playing or just relaxing. It’s the perfect place to come home to after an exciting day of sightseeing and local activities. The three bedrooms are designed for comfort; two bedrooms with king-sized beds and a smaller bedroom with a single bed. The fully furnished kitchen is equipped for anything from a four course dinner to a late night snack.

A trip along the Finger Lakes Wine Trail will likely lead to the ideal accompaniment. Everything you need to make yourself at home is here. Take a short walk across the wooden bridge to your own little island with a babbling brook.Take a picnic lunch or your morning coffee and relax while listening to the birds sing, or watch for the occasional deer to stop by for a drink while you relax in the shade of the majestic willows. Solar lights on the island invite strolls to see the thousands of fireflies in the summer, or watch for the wildlife that comes for a drink. Deer, raccoons, possums, squirrels, turkeys and many songbirds are just some of the wildlife you’re likely to see.

Once in awhile a coyote, pheasant or possibly even a skunk or muskrat make an appearance, too. Judy’s Guest House is a Certified Wildlife Habitat. We provide native trees and plants for food, brush and trees for shelter and water to drink for birds and wildlife. We don’t use any toxic chemicals in the house or on the grounds.

Judy's Guest House
Perfect for a stay with pets

This property had a nice rural setting. We didn't have to worry about disturbing any neighbors with our small dogs that bark because the property does not have another house that is close by. The house was clean, the owner made things easy for check in and check out. We had everything we needed and there was a nice book explaining everything. The location is nice because it is not too far from Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Since it is a rural setting be aware that some insects make it into the house. The property on the outside was a bit over grown and some of the trees are dead or dying. It is an older home so there is some uneven floors and the water has a metal smell. The owner provides a water cooler so that you have fresh water to drink. TV and wi-fi are also provided. Not the fanciest place but suited our needs well!

Weekend in Trumansburg, NY

Lovely spot, quiet and comfortable. Beds were great, too ! Only confusion was street number of cottage. I think one of my brothers ended up in owner's driveway. Quickly resolved. Would definitely stay again. Additional light and an exhaust fan would be helpful in the bathroom.
Lovely, peaceful, quiet property, perfect !

Simply perfect

We traveled to the area from Las Vegas NV for our nearby wedding and this house was simply perfect perfect! We enjoyed the house and surrounding property throughout our stay and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The property owner left us detailed instructions and made the entire rental experience so simple! 10/10 experience, would absolutely rent again!

Enjoyed our Stay

This is a nice place and Judy was easy to reach. The house has 2 acres and plenty of space inside. I really appreciated the book of instructions. It makes the check in process very easy and eliminates the necessity of having to figure out how thing s work or where they are. We would come back here if we visited again.

Springtime Sojourn

Quiet Solitude. Comfortable living space. Weather cooperated so we were able to commune with nature, which was what we were looking for. Everything was on one floor, close to grade level so those with walking difficulties could get around with ease. Beds were OK. I liked that linens and towels were provided. It was an older style bathroom, but we were only there for 2 nights.

This house did not disappoint! We loved our stay here and made our hectic days end on a peaceful and serene note. We enjoyed seeing deer roam freely and walking out to enjoy the creek. Wish we would have had a lot more downtime!
