Sunburst is an Adirondack lakefront house that features a 7-person hot tub and free wifi.
This is the premier vacation rentals on Mirror Lake with 6 bedrooms , each with their own private bath. In addition to the 6 bedrooms, 3 of the bedrooms have sleeping bag lofts for children and there is a queen sleep sofa on the balcony. Sleeps 6-20.
Enjoy the magnificent views of Mirror Lake and the Adirondack Mountains. Most rooms face the lake with the family room having a dramatic 24-foot ceiling.
Relax on a wrap-around lakeside deck with a 7-person hot tub and barbeque. Enjoy the large lawn area to play some fun sports games. No worries, there is plenty of lakeside seating to read and watch the amazing wildlife, boaters, and skaters plus two loveseat swings for relaxing with your favorite beverage.
Sunburst includes 2 canoes, 4 kayaks, 4 paddleboards, 2 windsurfers, and fishing, swimming, and skating docks with outstanding views of the Lake Placid Village, plus a beach-side firepit and rock wall floral plantings. There are 2 stationery docks plus a floating swim dock for all to enjoy.
Sunburst is within walking distance to the Village of Lake Placid and across the street from the boat ramp to Lake Placid.

Simply Beautiful!
Such a lovely place. We loved sitting on the dock to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Hot tub was great for a post hike soak. Very relaxing!

Never Disappoints!
Our family has stayed at Sunburst for several years and it never disappoints! It is located perfectly on Mirror Lake and only a short walk to Main Street.

Walkable to Restaurants and Shops
We were a group of ladies in Lake Placid for a girl's weekend. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunburst. Beautiful house with stunning views of the mountains and lake. The deck overlooking the lake was a wonderful spot for us to gather on a beautiful sunny morning. It was so nice to be able to go out the door and put on your cross country skis and ski up the lake. We also loved that we could walk into town to do shopping or pick up something to eat. It was a wonderful weekend.

Perfect for all Seasons
I stayed with just my dog and it feels like a big cozy home! Sunburst cottage is right on Mirror Lake so the activities are ENDLESS, no matter what season you're here. You will not find another rental like it!

Beautiful and Spacious
Sunburst is a beautiful spacious home that has allowed our family to spend precious time together through the years. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the spacious family room, dining room and kitchen areas provides excellent space for large families to relax and dine together, while also having independent space as desired. The location is beautiful and very convenient to the downtown area. The Hot Tub is an added plus! Barry and his team are flexible, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place to be in Lake Placid
From my initial communication, through our stay at Sunburst, and after, Barry has been wonderful and always provided prompt responses and updates. The home itself is magical. The views alone make the stay at Sunburst worth it, but everything the home has to offer is the cherry on top! I can't wait to bring more and more family members back to stay at Sunburst- the perfect place to be in Lake Placid.

Perfect Location
Sunburst is an amazing cottage! The location is perfect, the house is gorgeous, and the kitchen is super functional. We enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and the beautiful outdoor spaces.

Perfect Vacation Spot
We have been coming to Sunburst for several years now and it is always the highlight of our year! No matter what the season, we have a wonderful time at Sunburst. Some favorites are the kayaks and swim dock in the summer, the hiking trails close by and the frozen lake for skating in the winter. The house is very spacious. The yard has plenty of room for the kids to run around. The Adirondack chairs on the dock are perfect for stargazing on a clear night. Lake Placid is our happy place and Sunburst makes it a perfect vacation spot for our family. We are always so sad to leave and look forward to our next trip to Sunburst!
