We have owned and managed properties near our home in Florida and fell in love with this property. Our cabin is surrounded by unspoiled acreage in every direction. It was built in 2008 and we purchased it in 2018. We are consistently improving the cabin and grounds and enjoy sharing this ideal setting with our guests.

Shelving Rock allows us an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of upstate NY in a rustic setting with lots of privacy. When you want more than the wilderness, explore area restaurants, shopping, and fun in the Lake George area.

Perfect vacation getaway!!
Shelving Rock Lodge was the perfect vacation getaway! It is located minutes from multiple trails, hikes, beautiful waterfalls & Lake George. The cabin was so cozy & quiet and is laid out for comfort, convenience and family time. We had a great time taking advantage of all that the house had to offer. We especially loved the fireplace, hot tub and the beautiful views of the fall foliage. The kitchen had all we needed to cook, beds & pillows were comfortable, all rooms had extra blankets & plenty of space for the 6 of us.

Great Time Away!
We had a great time visiting the cabin. Very remote location, which in turn led us to have some great family bonding time. Cabin was beautiful, well stocked and very clean. We really enjoyed the fire pit every night we were there. Would definitely love to go back in the winter.

Excellent Retreat to Get Away from the Stresses of Life
I had booked Shelving Rock Lodge for myself and several friends for Labor Day weekend. The location is perfect if you are looking to truly disconnect for a weekend or so. The property is beautiful and perfectly maintained near numerous hiking trails and waterfalls. It was a great fit for us as we really just wanted a quiet weekend away from the stresses of work.

The property was beautiful. The home was fabulous. Well stocked kitchen. It had everything we needed and more. there was even spices and seasonings in the cabinet. The fire pit was awesome. We enjoyed s'mores around the fire nightly. Thank you

Shelving Rock Lodge is AMAZING
Our family had a fantastic time, staying at Shelving Rock Lodge for a long weekend. The property is beautifully maintained, and the house comes stocked with everything you could possibly need! From cooking delicious meals to playing games in the basement game room or sitting in the hot tub under the most stars we’ve ever seen in the sky the lodge has it all. Gorgeous Cabin
Theresa was great about communication. The photos don’t do the place justice: cabin was gorgeous inside and out. Very clean! She made a recommendation for my group to visit with our baby and it was perfect- right up the road- and easy to find. We enjoyed every moment there! Highly recommend staying here.
