Description

A perfect destination for adventure seekers, outdoor enthusiasts, and visiting family year-round. This conveniently located quaint cottage is a great place to stay while you explore all the adventures Chautauqua Lake has to offer for all four seasons; hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, biking, skate boarding, jet skiing, canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, wineries, camping, year-round festivals, skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.

This 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4; one queen-size bed in the primary room that has some views of the lake, and the second bedroom has two twins in a trundle pull-out day bed, all with fresh sheets and cozy comforters. The full bath is on the second floor with a vintage cast iron bath and shower with towels and soap included. The space features many original features from the days it was a fisher house, along with modern updates and tasteful furnishings to make your stay more comfortable.

The living room is perfect for game night or movie night, with an available smart TV for you to log into your streaming services. Pull the shades back after a restful night's sleep and let light flood into the main bedroom, exposing glimpses of the lake. Cook dinner in an intimate, rustic kitchen. The cottage includes all the needed kitchen amenities to serve a Chautauqua dish, like Buffalo Wings or Beef on a Weck. This cozy space will surely be a home away from home. Just outside the cottage front yard, you will find Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. In the backyard, a propane grill is ready for your next big meal. The cottage has a dedicated driveway for parking. Enjoy your water toys centrally located between two public docks, marinas and boat launch.

Two children's life jackets are provided. Other amenities include WiFi and a smart TV for streaming. Close to city adventures like the National Comedy Center, Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, Chautauqua Institution, JTNY Power House Skatepark, The Reg Lena Center for the Arts, Jamestown Community College and craft beer and wine stops such as Beer Snob, Southern Tier Brewing company and the Brazilian Craft Beer/Wine Lounge. The cottage is located on a thoroughfare, where you can sit in the gated yard with your pup and take in the most gorgeous sunsets.

It's a short 2-block walk to the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel promenade waterfront and the Lucille Ball Memorial Park, and walking to distance to Lucille Ball’s childhood home. A quick drive to Wegman's, Starbucks, and Evans Discount Liquor & Wines. When it's time to wind down, explore restaurants around Lake Chautauqua, have a BBQ in the backyard, or make special memories roasting smores in the firepit.
