Otter Creek Lodge is located in the western foothills of the Adirondack Park in Glenfield NY. The lodge is situated on over 100 acres and surrounded mostly by State land. Our private 18 acre lake is a beautiful body of water. Glacial formed with clear blue water and sandy bottom. The large beach has a gradual slope into the water, which makes swimming possible for all ages and skills. The lodge is located on the Otter Creek Horse Trail system of more than 65 miles of trails. Perfect for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. There are several lakes on the trail system nearby that are stocked with trout. State snowmobile trails are located adjacent to the property and are accessible directly from the lodge. We are about 1.5 hours from Syracuse, 3 hours from Rochester and 5 hours from NYC. The lodge is very private and secluded and is available for private functions offering weekend and weekly rates. Great for clubs, groups, family reunions and small corporate retreats. Other Activities: snowmobiling, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting. Golf: There are several good Golf Courses in the area. Old Forge is about 1 hour and there are several excellent Golf courses there. Skiing and Snowmobiling: Otter Creek Lodge gets about 200-300 inches of snow per year making it an excellent destination for cross country skiing and snowmobiling. We are located on the Otter Creek Horse Trail System that is renowned as the best in the northeast. There are over 65 miles of trails for biking, hiking, horseback riding etc. We are also located on the NY state snowmobile trail 8A. Snowmobile and ski right from the front door. For down hill skiing, Snow Ridge is located about 25 minutes away and is a great family ski hill with lots of snow.
