Bring family and friends to enjoy this strikingly sleek home, creatively designed to merge the indoor and outdoor spaces and maximize the remarkable views of the surf.
The sunken living room is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass walls that look out on a sprawling cedar deck with the ocean beyond. Virtually all rooms have ocean views and are bathed in light and cooled by sea breezes. This space is all about interaction, relaxation and socializing.
The granite/stainless kitchen is a cook's delight, fully equipped with quality appliances and kitchenware, designed to make cooking together easy and fun.
The dining area seats 10 to 12 and faces a south wall of sliding glass doors to the deck, all with ocean views. Lounge on the deck or cook outdoors on the stainless gas grill and enjoy outdoor meals at the large dining table, shaded by a cedar trellis.
The master bedroom includes a full private bathroom and a private balcony with ocean views. There are three additional bedrooms, all with ocean views, a second full bathroom, an additional half bathroom and a large open-air outdoor shower.
Quality bed linens, towels, cookware, tableware, beach chairs, and umbrellas are all provided. Washer/dryer. AC, heat, satellite cable TV with streaming channels and high-speed wireless internet.
The house is professionally cleaned and maintained to high standards--a perfect place for families, couples or friends to enjoy the glorious Fire Island beaches and each other!

Additional Property Information
Drive to Fire Island Ferries in Bay Shore, NY. There is secure valet parking. Or, take the Long Island Railroad to Bay Shore NY and take a 10 minute taxi ride to the Fire Island Ferry.
Take the ferry to Ocean Bay Park and walk 8 minutes to the house. There are no cars on Fire Island and that is part of the bliss. Everyone walks, bikes or takes water taxis (fun, speedy little boats).

Renters agree to be good neighbors and avoid noise that could disturb neighbors
The maximum number of people at all times is 10. No additional guests.
Guests sign a rental agreement and provide a driver's license or other photo ID.
A cleaning fee of $250 applies to all rentals.
A county tax of 5.5% of the rental fee applies to all rentals.
A returnable security deposit of $1000 is required for all rentals.
From late May to mid-September our minimum rental is one week. Other dates, a two day minimum rental applies.
Occasionally, weekend and Monday to Friday rentals are available--check with owner.
Reduced rates apply to monthly or full season rentals.
60 days or more before the arrival date: 50% refund
We accept personal checks, bank checks, Zelle and wire transfers as a form of payment.

Great beach house
This house has just about everything you need. Close to the ocean, a spectacular deck, clean, comfortable rooms and beds, a well-appointed kitchen, beach chairs, bikes, and a terrific outdoor shower. The hosts are friendly and responsive. Overall, an excellent place for a wonderful beach week.

Family beach home
We stayed at this home in Ocean Bay Park and it could not have been a more convenient and enjoyable beach vacation experience. It is a small number of steps from the beach and you can walk or jump on a bike to get to shops and restaurants if you desire. The home has memorable views of the ocean as well as sunsets over the bay. The home is designed to allow ocean breezes in one side of the home and out the opposite side making you almost feel like you are on the beach when in the home. The home is well appointed and the host, Christina, was available at all times for any questions we may have had about the house or the area.

Booked this amazing property for an annual fire island trip. Always had my eye on this one and all I can say is it exceeded expectations. Property owner was thorough and accommodating with dates (property was booked during covid quarantine).
Property was immaculate and spacious. Couldn’t ask for better location.
Can’t wait to book again next year!

Beautiful home right near beach
My family and I really enjoyed our weeklong stay at this property. It was very clean and in great condition and in a wonderful location with lots of fun things to do. The manager was very responsive and organized. Great views of the beach and some of the bay as well, made for lovely sunrises and sunsets.

Incredible experience
We stayed for 2 nights in mid-September, everything about the house and it's setting was amazing: the view of the sea from the spacious deck was inspiring; the comfort of the house and its amenities was perfect; the proximity to the beautiful sandy beach was very convenient; the owner was very helpful and made sure we were happy with everything - highly recommended.

Wonderful Fire Island Property
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! How can you beat a 25 yard walk to the sand, an ocean view from your deck, and top notch accommodations managed by a conscientious property owner?! We will definitely be back again - this time for a longer stay. The sleeping arrangements and beds were comfortable; kitchen, dining and living room "pit" areas well-suited for large family gatherings; and beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas and bikes) in good condition. Thank you again for a wonderful property and rental experience!
