Pleasant and comfortable: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Air-conditioned. Sleeps 6.

Great location, bicycle and pedestrian friendly.  Walk to beach, bay, Seaview Market, and village of Ocean Beach in just a few minutes.

Our house was completely and professionally renovated in 2013. Everything inside is (almost) new.

All bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas are air-conditioned.

There are no cars on Fire Island. We are within a few minutes walk of the beach, bay, market, and Ocean Beach. Bikes, linens, towels, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas are supplied.

This house was built by our grandfather 60 years ago. It was completely renovated in 2013. We stay here every year with our family.

Happiness is at the beach!

We found the perfect summer getaway in Seaview at this beach house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed from beach chairs to towels, wagon, outdoor shower, and big deck to relax. The owner was super communicative and responsive ensuring our stay was comfortable. Great location to the beach, bay, ferry, and Ocean Beach. We'll be back for future vacations!

My husband and I have stayed in Fire Island 4 times now and this was the rental with the best location by far-- near everything, but still peaceful. The house was cute and surprisingly spacious. Perfect Summer Cottage!

This is my third year renting in the Ocean Beach / Seaview area and this was one of my favorite houses. I went with my daughter ( whose 16 ) and 2 of her friends + had a few girlfriends stay / come by during the week. The house sits right between the Bay and the Atlantic. Far enough from OB but close enough to walk there in the evenings to catch the sunset. Right around the block is the Seaview Market which is great for those items you didn't bring and fresh vege's, cheeses, dairy etc... I love the homemade feeling there. I also was happily surprised to find that the Synagogue right around the block had a 10 am yoga class every day! It was an awesome way to start the day ! Back to the house.. Everything that should be updated and modern was. The bathrooms were brand new, the kitchen, and the laundry in the back shed. The living area was spacious and the 2 side bedrooms had single beds, comfy clean sheets, plenty of towels and bedding. The main bedroom was out of the way enough ( I didn't have to hear the kids at night :) and a very generous size. There is also a separate entrance and nice size full bathroom with shower. The back yard was spacious, brand new Weber grill with an outdoor shower used by all everyday. The kitchen had just the right amount of essentials as well. What i also loved about the house was that there were no knick knacks of the people who own the house. We were able to move right in and not feel we were living in someone else's home ( I've had that happen ) The owner Steve, was attentive and available if needed and very easy to deal with. Had a good conversation and felt at ease renting his house. Overall, I highly recommend this house !

Beautiful home

My family had a wonderful time. It is obvious that the house is very well taken care of and the location is perfect -- close enough to the beach, in a quiet area, and close to the Ocean Beach downtown area.

Perfect little house with a beautiful backyard

We have been to Fire Island for more than 10 years and love its quietness and beauty. As we have two young children now we prefer Seaview these days. We absolutely enjoyed the stay in this little treasure! The house is very clean and amenities are all new. The backyard is beautiful and has a big wooden deck. Steve and Jeanne were always reachable and even put two new gates on the deck so our toddler would be safe. The two main bedrooms are huge and the smaller bedroom is connected to the master bedroom which has its own entrance door. The outdoor shower is very clean and nice. The location is perfect as the grocery store and ferry are close but the house is not on the main street. The house is child safe and is well equipped. There are beach chairs and umbrellas in the house and one bike. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back

Perfect Family Getaway

This house is perfect for a family vacation. The house is immaculate, has all the amenities a family needs (clean linens, nice yard, gas grill, patio furniture). The location is one short block to the beach and 2 short blocks to the market. It is removed from the Ocean Beach crowd and shopping, but a short, easy (5 min) walk if you want the "excitement". My family has been renting in Fire Island for many years - this is a great house if you are looking for a relaxing vacation by the ocean.
