Let me be clear. This house was clean and a very acceptable place to stay. However, there were some things that don't exactly meet the description.
1. Walk to the Village.....technically yes you can (probably a two mile walk) but it's a very long walk on a fairly busy road. You'd want to walk it though as parking in the village is a challenge at best.
2. Drive to the beach.....you can but you can't use it. I tried multiple times to get information about a beach I could actually use from both contacts but they never bothered getting back to me. The closest M-F public access beach with paid parking is about 10 miles away and will cost $40 per day for parking.
3. Charm...as long as you are looking at this property only you will see charm. Look to the next property and you will see a huge garbage pile inclusive of an old boat with a tree growing through it. This is the exact view you get when using the grill.
4. Misc misdescription....there were other things that just didn't match up. That second TV in the bedroom was non existent, the kitchen items were basic mix matched yard sale finds at best, the house was clean on the surface level only (random clothes laying in the closet floor, ladies hair pins all over the master bedroom floor, etc) and the dryer is barely better than air drying your clothes.

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The house was consistent with the way the listing presented it. It was clean, quiet location, short car ride to beaches and good markets. There were items in the house that need minor repairs: broken handles on doors and dressers. The ac and wifi were good -- all in all, happy with the choice, though could be improved with minor efforts.
