Description
The main house offers great spaces for entertaining and relaxing. It accommodates 10 ADULTS, and 6 CHILDREN comfortably and has a heated swimming pool. Rent either the whole compound for a large group or the cottage (a separate rental) for a small get-together.
The property is steps from the beach and is located by restaurants and wineries. At this time, no parties and events.
The space:
It's a Historic Home with modern details. It has several spaces for entertaining including a massive chef's kitchen, a large dining room, a living room, and a parlor with a bar. It is a short walk to a gorgeous beach and 2 restaurants. There is a ball field across the street for kids to play or if someone wants to practice their golf swing.
Guest access:
The Pool, Main House yard, and 2 patios. Garbage area(behind cottage) Kayaks and bicycles are also stored behind the cottage.
Other things to note:
A Barbecue, beach towels, beach chairs, beach wagons, bicycles, and kayaks are provided.

About the Owner
Tracy and Aliison are sisters who are lifelong North Fork summer girls. They purchased the Whitecap property in 2018 and created a beautiful and magical destination for friends and family to gather and enjoy just like they did growing up.

What a wonderful place.
Whitecap had everything and more. Such a peaceful home, that easily accommodated our large family. The kids room was probably my favorite. Huge hit with the littles too. There was plenty of space, entertainment, and a super close walk to the beach/bay. There are two fridges so you can stock up on food and drink. The linens are fresh and blankets and pillows comfortable. What a wonderful place.

Absolutely perfect!
Absolutely perfect! I can't believe how lucky me and my friends got booking the Whitecap for my friend's bachelorette. The house was incredible and so is the location. Allison the host would beyond helpful throughout answering all my questions and made our check-in simple and easy. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. If you have the chance to stay take it!

This place is ABSOLUTELY stunning!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Where do I even begin with this house? We were in the area for my bachelorette weekend and chose white cap as our place to stay because of the number of girls we had. Allison, the host, was so sweet and personable! She met us at the house to give us a tour which was much appreciated because there is so much the house has to offer. Once we saw it we did not want to leave! The pool is heated. The patio furniture is plenty and very comfortable. There is an outside shower and a propane fireplace. The landscaping is magnificent and the neighborhood is so peaceful and relaxing. The decor in the house is amazing and you can tell Allison and her sister put a lot of energy and effort into making this place a wonderful home away from home for the people that stay here. There are also butterflies everywhere around the house in honor of their mother, which I think is such a special touch. The pictures for this place don’t do it justice trust me! This place is ABSOLUTELY stunning! Allison was wonderful to communicate with and very helpful with any questions we had. Thank you again Allison for making my bachelorette weekend one I will never forget!

Whitecap was a great stay.
The house has a ton of character, but also has very practical and updated touches. Decor was very nice, but still felt homey. Little extras all over the place.
Check in was super easy, with Allison’s husband Will meeting us to show us around.
Plenty of space for a group to spread out and not feel on top of each other. We stayed in winter, but the pool and outdoor space looked great. Kitchen was well stocked and great for a group to hang out and cook together. Loved the parlor room, but many good places to hang out beyond that.
Location was great. The park across the street was perfect so we could let the kids run around while we stayed at the house. Very short walk to beach. Easy drive to Mattituck and rest of North Fork.
Will hope to be back again soon!

we all love this place and definitely will come back for the second or third time!
this is the best place for taking a vacation or getting away from new york city for a couple of days, a great location which you can walk to the beach and run on the road. the owner is very friendly and provided clear instruction, welcomed us in front of the house, walked us through everything. this is a place which you will like to stay and have dinner with friends and families. they even have a gym for a little exercise while you are taking a vacation!
we all love this place and definitely will come back for the second or third time!

Tracy met us at the house, gave us a tour/walk through which really set us up for a great time & the list of restaurants and things to do were so spot on!!
We had 10 people comfortably fit in the house and couldn’t have asked for a better home to host our girls weekend!
