Spectacularly furnished beach house with 6 beds. This one of a kind home has everything you need for a vacation/holiday to remember. This beach house has a fabulous feeling of a home with breathtaking beach views and incredible sunsets on the Long Island Sound. Inside of the home is the river rocks fire place, beautiful living room with flat screen TV, and fabulous large eat-in full kitchen with new appliances. Large dining room table with seating for 12.
The sun-room has cozy seating with wrap around windows and additional dining table. This is the perfect home for a family reunion, get together, or couples retreat. (All our homes come complete with everything you need, just bring food & clothing) On the same strip of beach we have about twelve other beach homes that we rent as well so if you are coming in with family and are looking for multiple places this is the place to look. This home includes a jacuzzi, BBQ grill, free wifi and cable TV, and free parking. Available are fishing poles, bikes, kayaks and paddle boards, Central air conditioning and heating for year-round enjoyment. Nearby attractions include Splish Splash Water Park, Tanger Outlet Shopping Mall, Atlantis Marine World, North Fork vineyards, farm stands, golfing, and fabulous restaurants.

Amazing location
It's hard to beat this spot! Right on the beach, next to the playground, close to town - it's an amazing location! The hot tub was a huge hit for the kids, and the set up inside is functional and cozy. Debbie and Virginia were very responsive and settled issues quickly. All in all, a great stay!

This was our first experience vacationing in Long Island. The house was beautiful, very comfortable just as described!! Very clean! right on the water! The property manager was wonderful. Our calls and questions were answered immediately. They provided recommendations on restaurants and other things to do. We had a wonderful time, very relaxing. With so many beach destinations available from which to choose, we took a chance on The Long Island rocky shore. This house was situated in a quiet little hamlet that rested between the beach and a marsh lending wonderful views from both sides of the home. The house was in good shape and we really didn’t need to bring much more than our water shoes. Debbie was available to answer questions at a moments notice and the six of us really enjoyed our stay. Sunsets, kayaking and bonfires were the best. House decks are fab. The only things amiss were the lack of a broom and decent wine key! This vacation home was great.

Enjoyed Being Away
The house was great and the location was amazing. Out the door, down the steps and onto the beach. Terrific restaurant steps away. The homeowner was very hands on and even used the Ring cameras to communicate with us and make sure all was going well.

We had a wonderful time at the Mermaid Inn. House is roomy and private. Lots of nice amenities. The only thing I would point out is the bedroom configuration upstairs for the 8 guests is very much connected, and all share 1 bathroom. This worked fine for our trip not sure it would for couples (limited privacy).

Wonderful stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It was the perfect size for 11 of us and we loved the kayaks/paddle board and hot tub! Great, quiet neighborhood, just a short drive from necessities and wineries.

It was a FABULOUS experience in this clean, beautiful house with spectacular water views! Our trip was in early May so we could not drench ourselves in the ocean but the hot tub was a big plus. The hostesses are very attentive and stocked the house well. We were very happy with our experience, will certainly come back!
