My place has beautiful views You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the ambiance. My place is good for couples and small groups of friends This property is located on Skaneateles Lake in the beautiful finger lakes region of upstate New York.
The property is direct lakefront on a quiet part of the lake away from it all. These cabin rentals are one of the first built in the southern end of the lake and have that feeling of going back in time to a simpler life of reading books and playing board games.
This listing is for the entire cabin and guest cabin has a private beach area and parking for 4. We try to meet guests for check-in but make key arrangements if we are not in town and are available by phone for any questions our guests may have
This vacation rental property is on the southern end of the lake It is quiet and secluded on a road with a mix of seasonal and year-round camps. The camp is on a narrow private road
Please check with us if you are bringing boat trailers, jet skis or large vehicles as there may not be room to store them during your stay but we do have other options. This is a property that is away from it all.

We have been successfully renting this property for 14 years. We love to spend time at the property continuing to build memories with our childern and grand childern. We also love sharing it with guests during the times we are unable to use it ourselves.
Wow, what a wonderful getaway! Very steep areas and was perfect for my teen boys! We were able to dock the boat right outside and it was so convenient to get on the water every day! Closest and only marina for gas is about 5 miles so that was the only thing that was a bit of a challenge but we just made sure to gas up whenever we passed the place.
We could not have been happier to have this wonderful getaway! Would definitely come back!

Very beautiful property! Renting the main cabin and the waterfront cabin was a great idea, only difficult part was the walk from the main cabin to the water, oh my goodness it’s a hike! Bring walkie -talkies so you only have to go up/ down once. Bring four wheel drive car so you can park in between the two houses so you don’t have to load/ unload from the very top! Bring flashlights because the walkway lights weren’t working! Be cautious as there are a few spots if you aren’t paying attention you could hurt yourself!
Other than that there was plenty of space for us to sleep/ play games / float on the lake we rented a pontoon boat from Skaneateles marina and it was perfect. It was a great overall vacation

We enjoyed our stay! Arlene was quick to answer any questions we had. Our dogs loved swimming in the crystal clear water and we loved seeing the sun rise over the lake. We happily made use of the fireplace and upper and lower fire pits.

We had a great time with the family as we knew what to expect: a rustic cabin on the lake front with beautiful views, lots of frontage to launch a kayak, or dock a boat, and an opportunity to get away from everything. The cabin is on the cliff side, very cool for some. All the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you would need. Two issues to be aware of: 1) parking is tight, 2) the path is steep but short. Totally manageable but should consider when you are hauling gear. My 10yr old and I had no problem with two kayaks up and down but we may be more eager than others.
The other renter's negative review was ill-founded.
