The South Bunk House is 1 of our 4 PET FRIENDLY vacation rentals! This unique and secluded off-grid unit is located on our nature preserve close to the Muscovy duck and chicken farm (not noisy). Entirely self-sufficient, it encompasses the most state-of-the-art infrastructure, utilizing nature but not abusing it. The South Bunk House sleeps 5-12 people and has a fully equipped kitchen with a double oven gas range, large microwave, side by side refrigerator/ freezer with ice maker and a dishwasher, table dining seats 8. The main floor sitting area has 4 twin size sleeper sofa's that open up into extra sleeping accommodations.
On the second floor there is a private bedroom that can be set up with 3 twin beds or 1 king bed and 1 twin bed. Also in the private bedroom is a twin size sofa bed. The common space bedroom has an office work space along with 2 twin beds that can be joined to make 1 king bed. The second floor sitting area has a queen size sofa bed and a sliding glass door that leads out to a second story balcony with an amazing view of our nature preserve. BATHROOMS There are two full size bathrooms, one on each floor. The first floor bathroom has a shower stall and a high capacity, front loading washer and dryer. The second floor bathroom has a full size Jacuzzi tub with steam sauna and Waterfall Shower.

We are located in beautiful little town called Naples NY. Here, you can really enjoy the outdoors. There are several places to hike and bike. Grimes Glen is not only a beautiful place to view nature along the hiking trails and also has swimming holes and 2 towering waterfalls. The park also contains an amazing painted bridge from Daryl Abraham, born and raised in Naples. Naples has places to golf, ski, horseback riding... So much to do and amazing places to eat. Naples also has two amazing wineries Hazlit and Imagine Moore Winery. Naples Offers something for everyone! Just outside the town of Naples is HIGH TOR wildlife management area.
This property is in the ideal location to clear your head, watch the birds, and leave your worries behind. Take leisurely strolls around the 30-acre property and get back in touch with Mother Nature! For more outdoor adventures, drive 6 minutes to Grimes Glen park. The 32-acre park boasts a number of hiking trails, swimming holes, and 2 towering waterfalls!
Our guests have full access to all of our hiking trails and abundant nature. There is also a series of elevated catwalks, decks, and overlooks that are all handicap accessible. Picnic areas are available throughout the property and include charcoal grills, picnic tables and fire pits.
Shangri-La is a 30-acre nature preserve that strives for an overall experience of green living that guests can take with them when they leave. We promote an eco-friendly lifestyle by driving electric vehicles powered by solar systems, supporting local organic farms, using organic household cleaners and products and so much more.
Through our day-to-day practices, most of which can be applied to life outside of our resort, we greatly limit our carbon footprint. Shangri-La is proud to be doing the right thing for the environment. Our resort is truly ecotourism at its finest.

There’s no need to leave the property when you’re hungry. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite recipes during your stay. Just bring your favorite foods.
After enjoying dinner, head out to the balcony to watch the sunset. There’s no better way to end the day than watching the sun slowly dip below the tree line with a refreshing nightcap in hand.
