I rented this log cabin for my boyfriend's birthday with some friends (8 of us total). It was absolutely beautiful! The pictures didn't do it justice. With 8 of us there we still had plenty of room where we weren't on top of one another and able to relax and enjoy the secluded area of the cabin. Mike and Judy were quick to respond to any questions and were very helpful. It was exactly what we all needed and wanted; to get away from the city life but still be able to go to the grocery store if we needed to. I will definitely be renting this place again in the future.

My wife and I came with our 5 kids and had the most relaxed and fun vacation ever. Even though we picked a bad week weather-wise and mosquito wise ( this summer was a very out of the ordinary for mosquitos in the Adirondacks ). The cabin is amazing and have amazing amenities. The owners TRULY care about your stay and respond promptly. We plan on returning in the future in either autumn or winter at the request of all the kids (ages 12-16). The microwave, gas range, and screened in porch are unbelievably satisfying. The access and location to paradox lake, gull pond, schroon lake beach, schroon river, Bolton landings rogers park beach, the high peaks area for hiking, fishing, swimming, boating.....makes the stay even better. My wife and I live in the D.C. Area and after days sitting on the screened in porch exposed to such intense silence and clean air, we felt detoxified and cleansed. Highly recommended. We stayed July 22-29, 2017.

We stayed in this cabin last year, and enjoyed it & Schroon Lake so much that we returned again this year.
The cabin is clean, and the pictures on the VRBO web site accurately show you the cabin. It's comfortable, has every thing we needed (kitchen wise), great screened in porch, and it has central A/C. The cabin is located a few miles from the town beach, grocery shopping & restaurants, yet it's a very private setting.
The owners are very responsive to emails, and great to deal with.

We spent 4 days in the cabin over our winter vacation in February 2017.We had the best time ever.
The house was really well equipped. It was very clean and had everything that coud expect to have at home. There were some gadjets that I don't even have at home :)
We strongly recomend this cabin to anyone. We are pretty sure that we will go back there soon .

We've rented here before in the Fall and now Winter and lovely cabin in the woods with all the amenities. Look forward to our next visit to Sugar Hill.
