The rustic decor is beautiful with spacious rooms

My family and I were lucky enough to experience this home in both the winter and summer seasons. The home and property were well maintained and very clean. The rustic decor is beautiful with spacious rooms. Waking every morning to the site of Whiteface Mountain was amazing. Our family enjoyed skiing, tubing, ice skating, hiking, swimming and fishing. We found all of the activities to be very close to the home. To our surprise there was a great hiking trail not far from the backyard. The children enjoyed learning all about the surrounding forest. The view from the top was breathtaking. While the boys went skiing my daughter and I enjoyed a relaxing massage in town not 10 minutes a way. We enjoyed the many shops in town as well as the farmers markets. Fresh local fruits and vegetables were a great find. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. A great perk was the barbecue on the deck. We also enjoyed the variety of restaurants in town that the owner recommended. Curling up by the beautiful fireplace at the end of the day with a glass of wine was heaven. Our family enjoyed every minute at Chalet#5. We will definitely be back.........

House was nicely renovated and clean

We really enjoyed the house! House was nicely renovated and clean. Beds comfortable, The open concept was great with a group. We had one issue with the internet and the property manager immediately called back and helped us fix it. The neighborhood was nice and the location was about a mile from town. Feedback from our group was that we would rent this house again for next year's trip.

Perfect spot!

Stayed here for a golf weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Minutes away from golf course and grocery store and never had to go into the very busy village waiting in traffic or looking for a parking spot.
The house is absolutely beautiful!! The open kitchen, dining and living area was perfect for all of us without feeling crowded.
The front deck is just as perfect. So peaceful with a great view of the Adirondack mountains.
The ping pong table in the garage was an awesome source of entertainment at night.
We spend a weekend every summer in LP and this place is a hundred times better than any hotel in the village.
Wish we could’ve stayed for longer.

Exceeded our expectations!!

The spacious & beautiful home was perfect! The house generously accommodated 6 people. The location was perfect - close enough to everything, yet privately situated. The house itself was clean, and Adirondack style decor added to the homey atmosphere. Hoping to stay here again!

Great house for two families for ski weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. We were there with two families and had more than enough space. The house was very clean, kitchen has everything you could need, and beds were comfortable. The house is just a few mins from downtown Lake Placid, and was a 15 min drive to Whiteface. Owner was responsive to questions and e-mails about our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property!!

We had a great time at Chalet #5! We were impressed as to how immaculate & comfortable the property was. All guests slept comfortably, we were appreciative of the thermostats in each room, & the big living room was comfortable for us to watch tv & play games. The kitchen was also fully stocked! It took us just a few minutes (5-7) to get into town, so it was nice to be out of the hustle & bustle a bit in such a quiet neighborhood, but to also to be able to get to Main Street easily. I would highly recommend this property to anyone--with 6 guests, we all fit very comfortably with room to spare for even a few more.
