The cottage was lovely.

Only one bathroom but it is nice with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Two of the bedrooms are accessed by outside stairs but that was fine also. We had really cold rainy weather for Memorial Day weekend but Mary Ellen made sure we had enough blankets and space heaters. There are kayaks and a fire pit and a beautiful dock to sit out on. Beautiful neighborhood which was great for walking our dog. Mary Ellen was very responsive and helpful.
We had 6 adults but the layout of the cozy space was great for playing games and talking. Nice screened porch with big table. We did not know that there are a lot of stairs to go down to the house from the road which was a little rough on our 84 years old mother but she managed. That was the only surprise. Lots of wineries and breweries and walking trails nearby in addition to the beautiful lakes. Overall a terrific property and we would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay with Awesome Views and Thoughtful Touches!

from the beginning, mary ellen kept in touch, lets us know how to get in, told us right where to park, instructions for wifi and what to do upon checkout were clear cut. ole thank you of towels, and heaters to be used as it did get chilly. lots of room to veg out after fill days out! beautiful and serene views! thank you!

Beautiful lake views and a clean, organized space made for a wonderful stay. The home was a great base for exploring the area, and the simple checkout process was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Nice stay, clean place. perfect for Family and pets.

We had a nice stay at this Keuka Lake cottage. This place was clean and perfect size for what our family needed and definitely had that cottage feel. We (and this could have been my fault) didn’t realize all the steps to the cottage, but there a few so pack light. Huge lakefront area and an even better sunset. We enjoyed the screened in back porch so much too and the sunsets were breathtaking. The hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and personable. The best of it was our dog was the happiest swimming for entire week in the easily accessible area for swimming. Thank you so much for our stay!

We had an excellent stay in the cottage

We had an excellent stay in the cottage. It was just two of us and our very good dog. We were very pleased with how clean and fresh everything was. It may look dated to some folks, but the pictures were very accurate and depicted a place that you could relax and enjoy. The whole cottage was very clean, especially considering it is dog-friendly. It really gives you a taste of life living on the lake, which was beautiful. Mary Ellen provided some personal recommendations when asked, plus there were numerous materials provided when we arrived. We enjoyed the local wineries and restaurants, and trails, and even took a day trip to Niagara Falls! If the occasion would arise, we would definitely stay there again.

This was a beautiful spot, right on Kueka Lake.

This was a beautiful spot, right on Kueka Lake. Everything was clean with adequate amenities, but nothing fancy. The price was reasonable for a place on the lake. I liked the fact that there were 4 separate bedrooms, perfect for 4 of us traveling together to have our own space. It was a cold weekend, but there were 2 heaters and we brought 2 of our own so we were cozy and warm. To get to the two upstairs bedrooms, you had to go outside. This is specifically stated in the information., so not a surprise. Having the upstairs bedrooms outside could have been uncomfortable if it was raining , but we were lucky to have clear skies.

We were extremely happy with the cottage and really look forward to coming back to Keuka Lake.

Mary Ellen's lakefront cottage was clean and comfortable. It was a great value for the location! We loved being on the lake with a private dock and firepit. Morning coffee on the dock was so tranquil. Tons of things to do nearby including the wineries, craft markets, breweries, restaurants, hiking and more! A couple things to be aware of when booking: there's a lot of steps to get to and from the cottage; as noted in the listing, 2 of the bedrooms are connected to the cottage via an outside staircase and there is no bathroom access from these bedrooms (other than going back outside stairs to main house). Neither of these things impacted our stay, but thought it would be helpful to note! We were extremely happy with the cottage and really look forward to coming back to Keuka Lake.

Thank you for an amazing week!

We had a wonderful week at Mary Ellen’s cottage. It was the perfect size and location for our family. Mary Ellen let us use the dock for our boat. We used her kayaks as well. She is very quick to answer any question. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. Great memories made. Thank you for an amazing week!
