Perfect Keuka lake experience! The house is very nice and clean, and the lakefront yard is perfect for enjoying the lake. She allowed me to park a rented ski boat on her dock, we used her kayaks, and had a camp fire every night. Communication was very quick response and easy with Mary. I definitely want to come back again!

Great location - you are close to wineries, state parks and more. The road where the cottage sits is perfect for walks, too. Beautiful lake view. Well-appointed kitchen for cooks! Very clean and many thoughtful touches inside for guests. Need to be able to navigate stairs well (with luggage) - not a problem for us. Wonderful firepit, dock and kayaks, plenty of seating in and out side! Mary Ellen was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely return!

Mary Ellen was so helpful throughout my stay. Her response time is quite fast, and her instructions are crystal clear. Her place was absolutely beautiful and I loved every moment of my stay. This is definitely somewhere you want to stay, and hate when you have to leave. The view was espectacular.

your home base as you explore the area. It is located within 1/2 hour of many great hiking trails and wineries. The views from the lake frontage were gorgeous in Fall, and the fire pit and kayaks were a plus. Two of the bedrooms are on the second level and are connected to the main cottage by an outdoor stair. This unique set up allows for more privacy if you have six people like we did. Owners are responsive, and we had a great time!

Great location. We loved the outdoor yard with a firepit right along the lake. It has an incredible view, has kayaks to use, and is dog friendly! Two of the bedrooms are connected (you need to walk through one to get to the other) and accessed by going outside of the main unit. This was fine for our purposes but keep this in mind if you're planning on using all four bedrooms. Mary Ellen was super quick to respond and provided us with everything we needed. Overall, this was a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the cottage. The location and view were fantastic. It was so nice being able to bring along our dog. We certainly would recommend the cottage to anyone looking to stay on Keuka Lake.

Great location on the lake- we really enjoyed our time at Mary Ellen’s place. Being able to bring the entire family, including the dog, was a huge plus. The house has a huge, private space right on the water and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and making fires for s’mores!

Thanks Mary Ellen and Dan for a great lakeside stay in Penn Yan. You can’t beat the location and there are lots of activities for the the family in the area. We especially liked the kayaking (2 were provided with the rental), fishing off the dock (my son brought his rod), hikes on the many area trails. Our friends have a family house and we enjoyed motor boat rides and tubing. Food options were also good (Olney is the closest by deli) and Seneca Farms outdoor seating for food and ice cream were great. We stayed as Penn Yan and the Finger Lakes were going into Phase 3 of the Covid19 reopening so while places and activities were ample there were a lot of things still not fully open. Keuka Lake itself is wonderful. The laid back vibe, nice people and beautiful setting make you want to come back again!
