Perfect Home- Outstanding Owner

I'm not sure where to start - everything about our week in Rachel's house was excellent. The house is beautiful - waterview from the deck- the bedrooms are a great size and easily accommodated my extended family for the week. We ate almost every meal on the deck. Rachel though of everything. Beach towels, beach chairs, bicycles, puzzles, poker chips, ping pong, basketball, hammock... There is nothing I could think to add to this house. Thank you, Rachel for sharing your home. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this home. We especially enjoyed - Salivar's and West Lake Fish House - but our fav is The Inlet over by the airport. The best night was a perfect sunset on the beach that is 6 houses away. Can't wait for next year!!

Amazing Family Vacation

Rachel was an amazing property owner. She is very responsive. The house was very clean and beautiful. It was amazing that she let us use some of the water toys they have at the home. Our family had a great time and we are looking forward to booking next summer.

Perfect Family vacation

This is the first time staying in this beautiful home but Definately not our last. We always come to Montauk on our boat and wanted to share this experience with our 1 year old grandson and his parents. We had an array of guests ranging from 1-80 years old. The beach was perfect for small children , walking distance 6 houses to private beach. There is everything you could want for beach there.' Large. Yard and deck . Having dinner and breakfast on deck every day was great. My son and his wife were so happy not to have to bring any equipment. Bedrooms spacious and great set up . Outdoor shower a great plus. Kitchen well stocked and large . Plenty Of room to sit at table for meals or play games on rainy day. Highly recommend for anyone with children . House excellent condition, very clean and everything you need is there.

Making Montauk Memories

This was my second time staying in the "Big Blue House" as my 3 year old refers to it. This was the first time our newborn and my husband joined in! It is SUCH a beautiful house, perfectly equipped with kid friendly toys and furniture! Probably some of the most comfortable furniture I've experienced in a rental house. It is STOCKED with everything from BUBBLES to BATTERIES! It truly feels like our home away from home. Its a super short walk straight to the beach- where my 3 year old LOVES to collect her rocks and shells. The house is in pristine condition, incredibly spacious, the outdoor area is HUGE and there is plenty to do to keep yourselves occupied. The large kitchen also lends itself to fun activities you can do with the kids! Daddy and our oldest made dinner one night for the family! There is laundry downstairs as well as an exercise area with equipment so my husband was very happy for his "gym time". We LOVE the Big Blue House and would highly recommend it for families/groups. We are already in talks to plan a future trip with another family for 2016!

favorite Montauk rental house

This is my families 3rd year of renting houses in Montauk for the week. By far this home, and that is exactly what this house is, is the most beautiful, clean, and family fun house that we have stayed in. The owner was friendly and was very accessible to answer any questions that I might have had. The house was stocked with anything that you would need for a weeks stay. We used the many water sport equipment along with small children toys that were provided and encouraged to use. The short walk to the private beach was easy and the sunsets every night before the bonfires on the beach. This house has it all. Already talked to the owner about next years rental. CAN'T WAIT!

Perfect house for families

This was our second year renting this house. it was perfect for my children and grandchildren. The house is clean, attractively decorated and has all of the equipment and toys that you would need. The house is spacious and very comfortable. Great proximity to beach and restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Perfect for family vacation

My family spent Thanksgiving in Montauk. We had never been there so delighted in exploring that wonderful part of the world. The house was perfectly situated for command central. Seven family members stayed at the house with another six at the nearby Yacht Club (which was reported as very nice). The house was cozy but accommodated the large crowd for Thanksgiving dinner quite easily, the well stocked kitchen, tables and chairs all made for a fabulous family experience. The beds were comfy, the neighborhood quiet, with great strolls right out the door. We visited many of the nearby parks for day hikes and of course the famous lighthouse. All in all we would come back in a minute.

Great house for families!

We stayed for a week with 2 other families (5 kids under 5!) and this house was perfect for us. Walking distance to a nice private calm water beach, a big lawn, and so many great toys for the little ones as well as sippy cups, kids plates/utensils, beach towels, and more. We would definitely go back.

Best family vacation!

We were a family of 4 (kids 6 and 3) and spent two weeks at this house. We had an absolutely fantastic vacation. The home was immaculate and super close to the sound beach. The kids loved the beach, felt comfortable swimming and loved the nighttime camp fires on the sand. The best part of the stay was that the house has an amazing array of equipment and toys. We used the kayak, stand up paddle, ping pong, power wheels cars, etc. It was a turnkey family vacation and I'm certain we'll be back!

Unbelievable Montauk getaway!

This excellent NEW house is located on a totally safe and beautiful neighborhood near Gosman's in Montauk. The private beach, local convenience store, shops, Ben & Jerry's, fishing boats and Gosmans are all within walking distance. The owners have taken great care to provide everything a family needs to enjoy a stress free vacation - water toys, kayaks, outdoor shower, big yard, pack-n-play, comfy beds, washer/dryer, gym and a lot more. I've also stayed at this house for "ladies weekend" and had an amazing time! Next to the spacious kitchen is a huge deck second story deck with outdoor seating, an outdoor heater, tiki torches, surround sound music, and a new bar-b-que. My friends and I enjoyed watching the sunset over the water. Hands a perfect and all inclusive retreat for family and friends!!!
