Family vacation

My extended family , a group of 12, stayed at this wonderful home for our summer vacation. It was a magnificent home that had everything we needed. All we had to pack was out clothes and some food. This home was beautifully decorated and located walking distance to the bay and a Short drive to the ocean. We were able to enjoy sunsets, paddle boarding, kayaking and long days in the sand while feeling at home. After a day at the beach we loved sitting on the outside porch eating appetizers and watching the sunset. It was a wonderful vacation!

Great place for kids

We rented this house with 6 adults and three boys under 3 years of age. I couldn't have asked for a better place for toddlers. There were gates on the stairs and tons of toys for the boys to play with. The yard was very large and the whole house was in excellent condition. Rachel, the owner, was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Perfect Rental

The Montauk rental was the perfect getaway for our family who has little children. The house had all the amenities described and probably too many to enjoy! The house was very clean, well maintained and extremely close to the beach that was nice and calm for the little kids. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries and provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a great memorable week in Montauk!

great home for large or extended family vacation

great home for large or extended family vacation. We had four grandchildren - ages four months to seven years, and even on wet days there was lots to do with all the kid friendly games provided. Bicycles,the beach and a heavenly hamock helped to make the sunny days enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property and the quiet location - yet minutes away from great restaurants and only 20 minutes from the glamour of East Hampton

Great for Children

Stayed for a week at the end of September for a wedding at Gurney's. The house easily accomodated six adults and two young children (three, 19 months). Plenty of room for all. More toys than the children could want, including a motorized car. Long Island sound and beach are a five minute walk down the street. We went several times and were always the only people there. You can easily walk to small village (Montauk Harbor), which has a few restaurants and some shopping. The main town of Montauk is only a five minute drive away. Montauk Downs is about a three minute drive. House is really totally equipped, there is even a wine refrigerator. Rachel, the owner, is extremely helpful if you have questions about the area. Would strongly recommend to anyone spending time in Montauk.

The house was everything it was represented to be. Owner was very responsive and attentive to any questions we had. Very nice house with plenty of amenities and close to everything. I would definitely return

Amazing house in a great location

We rented this house for 8 adults and 5 children. We couldn't have asked for a better house for a great family vacation. Booking: The owner (Rachel) makes the entire process very easy. You can immediately tell that she is very interested in making sure you have a great time. She sent over lists of items in the house before we booked so we could make sure this was a good match for us. House: Super clean. Great layout with enough room on the second floor for everyone to gather. The open floor plan was great for cooking, eating and relaxing together. The kitchen is large and contains everything you would ever need during your stay. Bedrooms were a decent size and the kids loved the bunk bed room. Nice large outdoor deck with table and plenty of chairs. Amenities: Rachel sent over a list of amenities and location of everything. This house really does have everything you would need. Under the deck you can find everything needed for the beach including kayak, paddleboard, life jackets, chairs, umbrellas, kids toys. Beach: Nice quiet private beach is a 2 minute walk to the end of the block. Beach is on the sound so it's relatively calm and great for kids. You can enjoy fires on the beach at night as well. Owner: As I mentioned earlier I can not say enough about how much Rachel goes out of her way to make sure you have a great time. She sent me over lists of places to eat and things to do before we arrived. There is constant communication and she provided cell phone numbers for us to call or text if we had any questions or issues during our stay. Overall: Best family vacation we have ever had. It's a great house in a great location owned by someone that wants you to enjoy it. I can't wait to go back next year.

Best Family Beach Vacation Yet!

We had a wonderful time in Montauk and this rental house was PERFECT! for our extended family. It comfortably accommodated everyone, was in a prime location to the more "kid friendly" sound side of the island which is less than a block away and an easy commute a few miles to the ocean side. The full size washer and dryer was helpful (and necessary) when traveling with kids and the kitchen, grill and dining seating was ideal for a large family. If we had to do the trip all over, we would not change a thing. In fact, we're already planning our next trip in 2014 and we hope this house is available again.

Amazing Time!

This house has it all! Very close to private beach which is amazing for young families, walking distance to Gossman's and shopping. This warm and inviting family friendly beautiful home has everything you would need plus more for a fun and relaxing vacation at the beach. Owners are a pleasure to work with! We will be back :-)

Geat house..Great location..Great time!

Spent a long weekend with friends and had a great time. Beautiful house that had everything we needed. The house is a short walk to the beach. House has a perfect set up. Great, big deck was great for barbecuing and hanging outside. Would definitely rent again.
