Catherine was a wonderful host. she was quick to respond and very helpful for the questions that I had. her place is everything it says it is on the posting, we had a great stay. I would recommend Catherine and Diego s place for anyone looking to have a quiet getaway for relaxation and nature. Town is about 15 minutes away for necessities or a nice dinner. we would definitely stay again! thank you both!

Perfect for Family
The thing that stood out for me was the place was very clean and most supply was there. it's perfect for parents and small children. Catherine and Diego are flexible for check-in and check-out. i would rent again when I have a small group.

Catherine was a wonderful, WONDERFUL host.
My sister and I and our four dogs headed to their cabin for a sibling weekend getaway, and it was everything we wanted and more. Incredibly dog friendly (especially when my pup chewed up one of the kitchen rugs on the first night -- Sorry again!) Comfortable, warm, impeccably maintained. Their place will become a mainstay for us to visit moving forward. Thank you so much, and can't wait to come back!

Catherine and Diego's cottage was quaint and comfortable!
I was looking for a quiet and secluded space to celebrate my husband's birthday and escape the city.
I didn't have to contact Catherine much at all because the instructions/directions were very clear from the beginning. We really appreciated having the pool table, hot tub, high-speed internet, various board games, and TVs in all of the spaces.
As a few other guests stated, the water does have a strong smell due to sulfur (this seems common in most upstate properties) so you do you have to adjust, keep your skin moisturized, and bring your own drinking water. And while the property was fairly well kept, it did seem that the housekeeper didn't do a thorough job this time around - but we were only staying for 2 days so didn't bother to contact the host. If you're looking for a good spot to eat and have a beer, check out "The Old Mill." The chef Kevin is so friendly and the food was amazing! Overall, we had a great stay!

True gem
We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay at Catherine and Diego's “Hot Tub House” in Gilboa. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the hot tub, which provided endless relaxation and enjoyment for everyone. The house itself was a true gem. The attention to detail and stylish decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Catherine and Diego were exceptional hosts. Their warm hospitality and helpfulness added to an unforgettable experience, and we couldn't have enjoyed it more.

Great getaway
All I have to say is, what a GREAT getaway! It was very peaceful and exactly what I was looking for. We went on the trail behind the house it was a bit of a challenge due to the snow on the ground but after that we went for a quick dip in the hot tub, and it was amazing! Our dog also loved it, she spend most of her time outside. Overall it was an awesome trip, definitely coming back! Thank you Catherine and Diego!
