We checked in at the host’s restaurant only minutes away and received a warm welcome.
The space was immaculate and had a large hot tub and grill.
The power company had an outage outside the Marcus’ control but he was quick to investigate. Once the power came on the water needed a reset and Marcus was there within 20 minutes.
I have already recommended the space to a couple friends.

The space was perfect and it was clean and cozy. We enjoyed dinner and the complimentary wine tasting at their restaurant in Ellenville, which was equally enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay with great hosts!

It's always hard to find a quality place to stay (hotel and Rental) that delivers on what is advertised, in photos and in the written word. However, Marcus's place matched the photos and description, and then some. Clean, comfortable, CLEAN (can't emphasize this enough), and he is a great host. From the second I booked to the checking out he communicated clearly and consistently. I wish all AirBnB experiences were this GREAT.
+ BIG PLUS + | Traveling with a dog adds a challenge, but Marcus was so welcoming. The fact that he is open to pets and keeps his property this clean is unreal.

Everything was immaculately clean and the cottage was very comfortable. Marcus and his wife were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. I've already recommended their accommodations to friends!

The cabin was very cozy and exactly as described. There's very little light pollution, which is great for stargazing. If you want to get a fire going, you can pick up firewood at the Mobil gas station on the way into town. Cabin is only 5 minutes drive to downtown Ellenville and very close to hiking trails.
