Marcus was a great host and the home was everything we were looking for.
We ate at Marcus's restaurant on arrival and the food was great; his included wine sampling was fun and informative, and the wine was delicious. The staff were friendly and we received several recommendations on nearby places to hike.
The home itself was clean and ready to go. The hot tub was on, everything was in place. We had no issues during our stay -- only good times.

Beautiful and clean place

Beautiful Home
Marcus had a beautiful home with great access to the outdoors and all upstate has to offer. We brought our large dog and he loved it. Great value, looks like the description, and very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this charming Rental.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery—it truly felt like a peaceful retreat. The home itself was cozy, spotless, and tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with a cabin feeling.
The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided us with a detailed guide to local attractions, restaurants, and wineries, which made exploring the area a breeze. We especially loved the outdoor hot tub for cozy, relaxing evenings under the stars.
The location was ideal—remote enough to feel like an escape, yet close to charming towns with great local shops and dining options. Whether you’re into outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking or just want to relax and recharge, this place has it all.

Hot tub ready, cabin perfect, peace restored!
It's been exactly one week since we stayed at the Regal Retreat House and we're already planning to return before the new year.
Marcus was an incredibly proactive and meticulous host. When we arrived the hot tub was already warmed up and waiting for us. It didn't feel like we were renting a place, it felt like arriving at our own private cabin. Everything was pristine, cozy, and welcoming.

Marcus was a great host!
Our water cut out at one point late in the night and he was promptly on site helping us get it figured out. He was responsive and gave great recommendations for things to do nearby, and even gave us a wine tasting at his nearby restaurant! The place itself is quaint and cozy. The bed was huge and the hot tub was amazing. I would definitely come back!
