We had a wonderful weekend staying at this property. Far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the sounds of silence, but just a short drive into Woodstock. It was a real bonus having a hiking trail right across the street. The yard was a perfect spot to sit in nature with a good book. The house was great - clean and spacious with an amazing kitchen! Exactly what we needed.

The cabin is a lovely combination of rustic charm, scenic quietude, and functional forethought. We had everything we needed to be renewed and to enjoy this beautiful area. The kitchen, especially, was a delight - well-equipped spacious and a wonderful gathering spot. Robyn, the property manager, was responsive and efficient. We would be delighted to return.

This house was an absolute dream. It was romantic and cozy in the living room by the fire but the STAR was by far the kitchen full of windows and a wonderful island. The incredible banquet surrounding the massive table was perfect for games, dinner and curling up and with a good conversation. The heated floors were a surprise and added to the atmosphere! HIGHLY recommend!!

The red cottage was immaculate, and just as described. Robyn, the property manager, was very responsive when we had a concern. The kitchen is fantastic, and the bedrooms and "studio" area very comfortable. The property is quite rustic—during our stay we saw: Many chipmunks, a deer, a pair of bunnies, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and other wildlife. We really enjoyed our week at the Red Cottage!
