House was very neat and as we expected. Kids enjoyed their new rooms and get used to a house very fast. We spent significant time outside walking of Catskill scenic trail, making bonfire etc. Homeowner was nearby in the neighboring house and was very attentive and accommodating. Thank you Barbara for a nice 6-day vacation.

We spent six snowy days in the farmhouse and it was delightful. The house is every bit as pretty as the pictures illustrate. It was as neat as a pin when we arrived. The family who lives next door made a point to give us our privacy, but was available if we had any questions. I would add one thing to the online description. This is a beautiful part of the country. There are mountains all around with beautiful old barns tucked between. Behind the house is a gorgeous trail that allows you to pass by some extraordinary scenery complete with shaggy horses in the field , friendly cows waiting at the fence and ducks swimming in a pond. It was perfect!

The perfect getaway farm house, we had a short stay but planning to come back. The wood oven kitchen stove was the star of the weekend, we cooked all our meals there and they came out delicious. ( I am a chef and very experienced cooking with fire) and yes the fresh farm eggs were a plus.

We are return customers and had another good stay at Rich Country Farmhouse.
We had originally intended to ski at nearby Plattekill or Belleayre, but heavy rain and temperatures in the high 60s kind of derailed those plans.
We wound up touring local bookshops, checking out maple sugaring at one of the largest sugarhouses around, walking the trail out back of the house and getting in some horseback riding in the spring-like temperatures.
We will be back again.

The house was clean, well organized and fully equipped with all necessary incidentals provided for. The home furnishings were nicely reflective of a very receptive atmosphere. We listened to music and watched DirectTV television. The farmland provided us with beautiful scenery. The mountain air was clean and a pleasure to inhale.
