Owners were great from the start, very flexible and accommodating. House was perfect layout for our two couples. Deck layout is perfect for relaxing after the beach. All amenities needed were already in house making it easier to just arrive and relax. Two minutes from all restaurants and bars but off to the side so quiet at Night. It was just right for us!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay with Diane and her husband. The home is next to Diane's home but we had good privacy and delightful interactions. The home was very clean and well appointed.

What a wonderful place to kick back and smell the roses! This is a lovely house with every amenity you could ever want or need, and the view of the bay at sunset was a picture-perfect ending to each day. Can't wait to return next summer!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful beach cottage. If you're not familiar with Ocean Beach it's a nice little town with many wonderful restaurants & shops, and this house is in perfect proximity to all of them. A short stroll and your at the ocean- but we enjoyed reading a book on the deck, right by the bay! It can be a party town on the weekends so beware- otherwise- get ready to relax!

If you have been to Fire Island than you will understand what I mean by my title......if not....you will instantly love this charming place called Ocean Beach and will rush to come back!....And we could not have asked for a nicer place to stay.....we were greeted @ the ferry by the owner Diane & welcomed into "our" rented home with delicious proseco and a perfect setting for a week at the beach.......clean & comfortable and set up with all the necessary items for beach life.....lounge chairs on the deck, a big grill for dinners, washer-dryer, and the best.....an outdoor shower (w/hot water!)....My husband and I have been traveling to Fire Island for over 10 years .....and now we look forward to coming back to this special gem of a cottage as often as we can!! :)

We had amazing 7 days staying at the Diane. When we arrived at the house, there was a bottle of chilled Prosecco waiting for my wife and I. What a nice start to our vacation. The house is perfect for a small family, very baby friendly, open concept and lots of AC (which we only needed 1/2 the time). There is a great grill and an amazing shower as well. You cant beat the location if you love sunsets; one house from the bay and steps into town and the playground. It was a great family vacation, My daughter still wishes she was pushing the wagon Diane provides for your stay. See you in 2014!

We had an absolutely lovely stay, the house is adorable, bright, and was just the right size for us. Fire Island itself defies description it is such a wonderful place. We had a wonderful vacation and are looking fwd to next summer!
