Wonderful Adirondack Retreat

There are not enough superlatives to describe our stay at this wonderful Adirondack retreat! First, Melissa, the owner, is everything you could want in a professional yet super friendly host. From the initial inquiry to our departure we always felt we had a valuable partner in getting a wonderful vacation. When we arrived, she was there to greet us, familiarize us with the property, and see what special needs we might have. Throughout our week she was always available with a helpful hand. The house is warm and cozy and the bedrooms are really nice -- two master bedrooms with en suite full baths in addition to three other bedrooms and two other full baths. AND, plenty of hot water for the showers was a treat! The location is gorgeous -- with a boat house with deck right on the lovely Lake George. There is ample room in the house to spread out and play games or read or just watch TV. The kitchen appears small at first until you start to work in it and you realize that it has everything you need, conveniently located and with plenty of room to prepare whatever meal you want. The dining table is huge and dishes and silverware plentiful. Diamond Point is convenient to Lake George and to Bolton Landing, but also very near other destinations like Lake Luzerne, Saratoga, and points north. Lake House has everything you need for a great time; you bring your food and you're all set. Relaxation or exciting explorations are all possible here. This home deserves way more than 5 stars!!!! Highly recommend.

Great Location/Deck on Lake George

The house is rustic, very clean with lots of bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen with all kinds of cooking-wear. The deck over the boat house looking out on the lake is awesome, with a wide and unobstructed view. We watched the harvest moon rise (Melissa let us know not to miss this!). Melissa was very easy to communicate with for check in and check out and if we had any questions during our stay. The only issue is that the walk down to lakeside is a slight challenge for an elderly couple like us. But the TV with some cable channels was excellent as was internet reception. The king-sized bed in the Master bedroom was very comfortable and there was a balcony and ensuite bathroom adjacent. The area is ideal for a visit to Lake George. We had a lovely stay.

Wonderful experience!

The property was beautiful and the view of the lake from the boat deck was spectacular. There was plenty of room and the house was clean and organized. Melissa is an incredibly sweet and conscientious hostess- she even went out of her way to mail me a stuffed animal (my daughter's favorite!) that we accidentally left behind. I highly recommend and would stay there again!

Great spot

This is a great location & home. The house has everything you need and the dock on the water is beautiful!! The owner is very sweet and accommodating. Look forward to renting again in the future!

Lovely home with lake access

We so enjoyed having the use of this entire cottage on the shores of Lake George for a spring break getaway. More than enough room for our whole family, this him provided the perfect retreat.

Perfect!

My family of six (including 2 teens and 2 grandparents) enjoyed our stay at the lake house at the end of March. While the weather was too chilly to spend much time on the water, the dock and the boathouse were beautiful! The main house is charming, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy some privacy. It is really the perfect lake house - a little rustic, but very clean and so comfortable! The owner, Melissa, couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Thank you - we will definitely stay here again!

Lake House

Spacious yet quaint. All the amenities you want for a getaway. Winter is wonderful, great views of mountains and lake. Great location, private. Owner very attentive. Would definitely go back again.

Great property

The property was spectacular. Perfect location and the house was immaculate. The communication with owner was great and she always got back to us with answers to our questions. The directions were very specific as far as check in and check out. Owner left helpful notes throughout property that helped a great deal. The use of the garage was a huge bonus for us.

Large lake house 30 minutes from Gore Mountain , minutes yonLake George Village

Ron and I had a wonderful time staying at the lake house .. I love the fireplace and the open floor plan and we played some pool and we skied and we looked at the beautiful lake every morning while eating breakfast. It was very roomy yet cozy With it’s lovely notty pine throughout the house.. lovely charming property ..
