A wonderful retreat in a beautiful area!

My husband and I took a much needed vacation to Adirondack Park with our dog. Michele was welcoming and gracious. She even had fresh eggs from a local source waiting for us. Yum! The cabin was comfortable and private. We hiked the trails, played endless games of ball with the dog, read, cooked, savored the quiet and the clear starry skies. A wonderful place to recharge!

if you choose to stay at Michele's home, you will have made a great choice! She communicates exceptionally well, and her home is stunningly amazing! She will not impose on you, but is easily available through email. The property is close to the little town of Wells, NY. The road around the lake there is great for walking, running or biking! When you return to Michele's house after a full day, it is a great place to relax and unwind. You will definitely feel welcome... and you will enjoy your stay!

Lovely, comfortable home in the woods with secluded quiet we were looking for. Sun-Wed there were only a couple cars per day on the beautiful quiet side road in & out that also made for a short easy stroll through the tall pines to some marked hiking trails, pond & stream. House fully stocked with anything needed - fresh local eggs was a sweet touch! Screened porch was great for avoiding the inevitable bugs. Loved the hummingbird feeders. Well loved & cared for home. Michelle was communicative to make sure we were comfortable & was available for any questions. Thanks!

One of the best trips I've ever had and a lot of it was because of this wonderful home. Firstly, I have never stayed at a place with such a well-stocked kitchen. We made most of our meals and had all the equipment needed. Also there are so many winter activities close by! We had a fun time exploring the outdoors in the snow and then could come back to start a warm comfortable fire. Can't wait to return someday.

We had a great stay at Michele’s place. The cabin is an old farm house and very cozy decor. It was cool at night in July and did not even need the AC downstairs. The space was very clean and well maintained. The screened in porch was great during Day and at night to relax. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Location was remote and quiet but easy enough to find and get to all the activities in the Adirondacks. We enjoyed hiking, fishing and boating at varies spots around!

We had a great stay at Michele's house. The space was clean and well decorated. It being pet friendly, you would have never known there had ever been a dog there. The yard was perfect for our pup to run around in. Close to a lot of trails and other outdoor activities.

Michele's place in the Adirondacks was incredible! My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet, somewhat secluded place to vacation with our dog and we were not let down at all. Although there are houses nearby, we were gifted with the solitude of the mountains.
The house itself is nice and spacious. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you could need to cook meals at the house. She even includes a dozen fresh eggs from a local farm, which is a very nice touch!
We loved the cozy living room area and it was a perfect little spot to relax after hikes.
As for location, it's walking distance from a couple of trail heads. We particularly liked the trail to Murphy Lake -- what a beautiful place! We did other hikes around the area, which were anywhere from 20 minutes away to an hour. Not too bad when you're driving around in the mountains!
Overall, this was an amazing place to stay and highly recommended! Thanks again, Michele!
