Very quiet and relaxing. Perfect for our needs as a small family

Easy to rent. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the very uncomfortable mattresses. Had a hard time sleeping each night.

The cabins are great!

We overall really enjoyed our stay in Cayuga Lake Cabin "B". These cabins are spectacular! Cheryl and Jim thought of pretty much every detail, and they are lovely, hospitable people. There were only two of us, but it would have been ample for four or even six. Being accustomed to hotels, it was wonderful to have a fully outfitted kitchen during a trip, and it especially came in handy with limited food options in the immediate area. The main room was really comfortable, and the property is super peaceful and whisper quiet -- we never heard a peep from neighbors the entire week. A few notes: If you stay in Cabin "B" over summer, the bedrooms don't have their own air conditioning units, and we were unlucky to have gotten a week with warm and humid nights -- we like it cold for sleeping, so we ended up sleeping in the main room on the fold-out couch. Also, the lake access (across the street from the cabins) is beautiful, but it's a workout to get there even if you're in some shape -- it's down a steep hill with lots and lots of stairs. But we found that neither of those things truly affected our stay. Staying in Cheryl and Jim's cabin was a really nice change of pace!

Great Weekend in the Finger Lakes

Clean, comfortable, well stocked cabin that met all of my family's needs for the weekend. The hosts were also extremely welcoming and made it clear they were available if we ran into any issues during our stay. The location is also ideal and we'd happily stay here again!

Beautiful cabin .. great location for wine tours.

Cabin was beautiful. It was a little awkward when the owners showed up at 830am after our first night . Then again the second morning at 930am to remind us of the time change . I would stay again but would rather have owners greet us at check in. Great location for doing wine tours on cayuga and Seneca lake. There is also lake access . My wife and I had amazing weekend .

Cabin B – Girls' Wine Weekend Getaway was fantastic

This was our first visit to the Cayuga Lake Cabins. Booked it for our annual Girls’ Weekend getaway. Close to wineries and all area State Parks (highly recommend visiting Robert Treman, Taughhannock Falls and Buttermilk Falls).

What a surprise it was to find that these rustic looking cabins are actually well-equipped and beautifully constructed. The owners, Jim and Cheryl, are super-friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Cheryl maintains a well-stocked binder about the surrounding area/activities and she gave wonderful advice on where to eat, wineries/breweries to visit and general touristy information.

Cabin C was under construction during our visit. Jim designed/constructed the cabins, so you can see where the attention to detail plays in  The 190-step trek down to the beach/lake deck is well worth it. Pack your picnic lunch and spend the day!

Highly recommend; can’t wait to come back!
