Awesome house

This house was awesome.

I went with my family (6 total) and we had an awesome time.
The house was as advertised... actually a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures.

The house was super clean and spacious. We enjoyed both the dining room for playing board games, the upstairs couch for relaxing, and the downstairs couch as well. We made a fire one night in the outdoor fire pit and even enjoyed the hot tub which was especially nice in the cold weather.

There are a lot of thoughtful things in the house... Bidets and Squatty Pottys on each toilet are just an example.

The house is only 1.5 hours from NYC without traffic and the drive once you get upstate is beautiful.

I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an incredible place to stay with friends or family.

Highly recommend staying here

We absolutely loved staying at Emily’s place. 25 min from new paltz, cute coffee shop / restaurants not too far.
We loved using the big kitchen to cook all our meals and feel right at home. The hot tub was a plus and so was the fire pit. Heads up bring your own firewood! We Appreciated the overall branding of the design of the place / each room has a different color theme .. bathrooms all have the same great shampoo, conditioner, etc. comfy beds and couches. It snowed while we were there and it was so beautiful. Highly recommend staying here!!

Extremely clean, warm, and inviting

Emily, My family and I had a wonderful time in your extremely clean, warm and inviting house! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed when we decided to cook one night. The house is so spread out that we could spend some time watching different TV shows(2 TVs - one in the living room - one downstairs in the den with a great wood fireplace!) The bathrooms look brand new as well as the beautiful kitchen! We had a blast in the hot tub - we were all relaxing and enjoying ourselves! We also loved the area! We hiked on a trail with a beautiful waterfall and went to charming eateries! Emily was the nicest host and we can’t wait to come back to enjoy a winter weekend away at the KinHouse ! Thanks Emily

Had everything we needed!

Kin House had everything we needed! During the day we hiked (the trails were both 7 minutes from the house!) and at night we hung out by the fire pit and used the hot tub a lot. For a big group (8 friends) we loved having so much space and the way the house is decorated. The bathrooms were all really nice and everything was so clean. The host Emily gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations- they were all so close by, like 10 mins or less. House was exactly what we needed and we will def be back again soon!

Amazing

The Kin House experience was amazing! My girlfriend + 2 other couples decided to get away from the busy city and enjoy the fresh air and activities upstate had to offer. This house was perfectly located central near all the amazing hikes and restaurants and with the help of the guide that they left us, we were easily able to find everything. Even though there was so much to do outside the house in town we spent most of the time cooking in the large open kitchen and using the secluded backyard that had a fire pit and hot tub! The house itself is very spacious and the bedrooms are all spread apart on different floors, which is great for privacy. There are rooms where everyone could gather and relax and where you can bunker down and get cozy under the wood fire stove. Emily, the host, was very responsive throughout the entire process and helped guide us with any questions we had regarding this beautiful house and town. I highly recommend you check this place out and we can't wait to come back again soon!

Fabulous home, fantastic location

A fabulous home in a perfect location! Our group of 8 celebrated Thanksgiving at Kin House and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house is spacious, thoughtfully stocked with everything a group needs and beautifully decorated. Emily was very helpful and responsive from answering questions prior to booking right through to checkout. Always easy to reach and ready with answers and helpful advice. We took full advantage of the hot tub and fire pit, both were great! We also enjoyed hiking in the nearby parks and were spoilt for choice in that regard. The location can’t be beat. We hope to return sometime in the near future!

Little slice of paradise in Kerhonkson!

Thank you so much, fabulous Emily and team, for such a spectacular visit! Your beautiful home, with modern conveniences, offered a quiet respite away from our own bustling homes in Brooklyn. Such great care was incorporated into every little detail, and this insomniac even managed to sneak in several moments of rest in your thoughtfully curated space. Emily, our host for the long weekend, was reachable within moments, as we inquired after nearby hiking trails and the cutest neighboring convenience stores. I recommend enjoying an outdoor soak in the hot tub, which is nestled in the calming woodland of the backyard, followed by a glass of wine at the woodburning stove. We truly can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise in Kerhonkson!

Huge, modern, and spacious

I booked a pretty last minute trip to the Kin House for a quick trip to escape the city and to try to catch the end of the Fall foliage. First off, the drive to the house is beautiful. The house itself is huge, modern and spacious. I stayed on the middle floor bed and the bed was super comfortable. My friend stayed upstairs and also raved about his mattress (I think Casper mattresses). My favorite part of the stay was the backyard - made a fire and had some s’mores, and the hot tub is great! The house is pretty secluded and I appreciated the privacy. Lastly, the house was recently renovated so it’s all brand new interior and design which is always nice. Emily the host was super responsive and helpful every step of the way. 5 stars definitely recommend.

Huge place with lots of privacy

Wow. We are so happy we booked Kin House. The place is HUGE with a bathroom on each floor and the bedrooms spread out for lots of privacy. The balcony on the third floor was my favorite spot - I spent a lot of time up there with my coffee - which I was very grateful for all the coffee options and an easy to use coffee machine. We hit up so many great restaurants nearby - you couldn’t ask for a better location. I can’t wait to come back with more friends, I will definitely be booking again!

It was awesome!

Booked the Kin House for an extended weekend hiking trip with the guys and it was awesome! We were right by all the trails and not far from the local restaurants too. As a group of dads on a budget, we definitely appreciated being able to grab fresh groceries close by and utilize the amazing kitchen this place offers. Lots of helpful and thoughtful touches by the hosts to help us out! Ended each night winding down by the fire pit. Will definitely be back here again. Check this place out!
