The Highland Cottage is situated in a prime location for snowmobiling and hiking, there is access to Fourth Lake and trails within a few hundred feet of the Cottage. The cottage has 3 levels, with 5 bedrooms, and 3 baths, a living room, a family room, an office area, a fully equipped large kitchen with a peninsula, laundry, an enclosed porch dining area with large windows and a view of the lake and a gazebo deck. It also has a private dock, sandy beach, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, satellite TV, and WiFi internet access. Built-in the first quarter of the 1900s as the boathouse for The Highland Lodge, it was moved to its current location next to The Highland Lodge and expanded to a cottage sometime after 1922. Although completely renovated in 2000, the two bedrooms upstairs that once faced the lake retain the original wainscot paneling and offer a glimpse of the history of this charming cottage.
Linens are NOT provided - You will need to bring your own sheets for 3 Queens, 4 Twins and towels.
