Description
Nestled in the mixed hardwoods & tall pines is this 'old time' but newly renovated Lake George cabin. This cabin is located on a dead-end street and has a very quiet atmosphere.
The waterfront consists of 107' with its private swimming beach/cove (perfect for kids!). There are (2) 45' docks that can be used to fish off of or to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening at sunset. Being on the east side of the lake looking west produces the most gorgeous sunsets.
The property has plenty of room for lawn games, barbecuing and campfires at night. Bring your kayak or canoe to paddle around and explore the shoreline. The cabin renovation in 2023 made way for a new kitchen (cabinets, flooring, appliances etc.) and bathroom (shower, water closet, vanity).
The (3) bedrooms (1 king size, 1 full size and 2 twin size beds) were newly painted, new ceiling fans and freshly stripped and re-finished wide-plank wood flooring to keep the 'cabin feel'. The living room has (2) large couches and has a table and chairs for family meals. It has a TV with DVD player and internet throughout.
The front porch is the best for last - it allows for relaxing indoors but being able to see out and enjoy all the views the lake has to offer. The windows in the front porch were replaced and allow for the cool lakeside summer breezes. There is a gas grill on the property for grilling out.
The property is located approximately 15-20 min drive to Lake George Village and has immediate access to many great restaurants. It is situated directly across from Long Island which is a state camping island and is mid-way between the Village of Bolton Landing & Village of Lake George. The Buck Mountain wilderness trailhead is about a 10 minute drive and so is the Pilot Knob Preserve trailhead. The Prospect Mountain trailhead is about a 20 minute drive. There is the Town of Fort Ann beach located about 10 minutes as well.
This would be a great rental if you are planning on coming in to see the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga Race Course!
The world-renowned Saratoga Horse Racing Track is approximately 45 minutes away. Some historical points of Lake George can be witnessed at nearby at Fort William Henry or Fort Ticonderoga. Policies
Renters are expected to strip bedding & run one load of wash and place that load in dryer & begin a second load in washing machine prior to departure. Place all dishes in dishwasher and start before leaving (or hand-wash and place on drying mat) - all pots and pans should be cleaned and put away. All floors shall be swept. Take out all trash to outside trash cans and replace with new bags.
Linens are provided for beds. One bath & wash towel per person provided.

Additional Info
$500 Security Deposit taken with 50% deposit payment. Returned 7-10 days after departure pending review of uncleanliness, damage, and/or missing items. Final payment to be as agreed upon by both parties.
Cancellation Policy
50% down payment due at time of booking along with $500 security deposit. Balance of 50% due April 1st of the year of the booking. At that time, the booking cost is non-refundable.
