While my family had an amazing vacation staying at this house, there were many issues we had. First, the house had plenty of room for our 6 adults and 5 kids. The kids loved the ping pong table and brand new hot tub. The sofa upstairs was so comfortable we had a hard time not falling asleep on it! The beach area was great for the kids to play on. They had fun making sand castles and burying each other in the sand. The kayaks were used daily by both adults and kids. The dock was great for docking our rented boat. The neighbors were never there so we had the beach area all to ourselves… until the camp next door got there on Monday. It was loud and busy over there, which in the long run didn’t bother us. Now for the house. The pictures on this website are inaccurate. There is only one television and it is on the lower level, not the upper level as pictured. The screened in porch was used daily. The only thing I wish was the bar on the screens was up higher as to not obstruct the view of the lake. All the rooms had window air conditioning units, which is not depicted in the pictures. This obscured the view in many of the rooms. While we could tell there was a lot of work done on the house, it seemed to be subpar work. The main bathroom downstairs didn’t have an exhaust fan. The vinyl floor buckled by the door and the drop ceiling rose and fell making a noise every time the door was opened. The bunk room downstairs has a waterfall dripping down from the ceiling when it rained. The whole downstairs was so damp that it made it uncomfortable to sleep. The two bedrooms downstairs that were not the master had lights that flicked when turned on. The closet doors were missing handles. This house has so much potential but needs a lot of work for the amount charged.
