Our cozy cabin, nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks and just a stone's throw from Lake George, is a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. I am a retired Hospice nurse and Bob is a union electrician. I am also a NYS wildlife rehabber who raises baby foxes. we live closeby to the rentals and strive to make your experience nothing less than five stars.

Sometimes you can just feel when a business owner takes pride in their trade
Sometimes you can just feel when a business owner takes pride in their trade. This is one of those examples. From being met personally at arrival, to the impeccable decor and not to mention the overall knowledge of the area.. Paula and Bob were a godsend fresh farm eggs & oatmeal were a great touch.
Spent the weekend at the Firefly rental, and it exceeded expectations tenfold. Made a note to return during the summer. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Overall, the Firefly Mountain and Paula deserve 100 stars.
This was our best Airbnb experience! Realistically, Firefly Mountain deserves 10 stars! We felt right at home the moment we walked into the door, with the beautiful layout and winter decorations! Paula was extremely responsive and helpful for any questions, changes or concerns. During our stay, we had a beautiful snowstorm and Paula & Bob were quick to plow the driveway and street for us!
Overall, the Firefly Mountain and Paula deserve 100 stars. This was more than just a rental, this was a cozy, welcomed, "made to feel at home" experience and we are so happy to have the oppurtunity to have stayed here! Excited to rent with her again in the summer! Thank you Paula!!

Comfortable as I was in my own house
Paula is a sweetheart and made us feel welcome. Honestly I felt as comfortable as I was in my own house. The Christmas decorations were so beautiful and the 70 feet tall Christmas tree was so gorgeous! I couldn’t recommend it more. The vinil collection is amazing! I had so much fun cooking and dancing to my favorite Beatles songs. She also brought us fresh eggs from her farm. We are beyond thankful! Thank you Paula and Bob! ❤️

Beautiful House. Amazingly friendly and accommodating hosts
Paula and Bob are amazingly friendly and accommodating hosts, and the Firefly cabin was so great we couldn't stay away (we previously visited back in October). The Christmas decorations they put up were nothing short of magical. The house is beautiful and staying there gets you the best of both worlds, peace and quiet when you want it but a short drive to Lake George/Glens Falls/Saratoga. I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for a great place to stay to do some hiking, site seeing, or just to get away for awhile.

The place was very clean and cozy
We could not have asked for a better host renting our first ever Rental. Paula is very responsive and attentive and it is clear she wants you to have a good stay. The place was very clean and cozy if you have trouble feeling at home when staying at other places then Paula is the perfect host. The house had everything we needed and the decoration was very nice. We will definitely be staying with Paula again when in the Lake George area she is doing everything right. We would give more than 5 stars if we could. Thank you Paula <3

We loved the stay over the Christmas holiday!
We loved the stay over the Christmas holiday! It was decorated very elegantly and festive with a cozy fire place, a very comfortable bed, among so many other thoughtful details. We enjoyed listening to music on the record player, my partner and I felt right at home! Paula is very kind and helpful, and she left delicious homemade goodies for us to eat. We hope to stay again and would highly recommend!

Me and my partner could not have asked for a better trip, a large part of that was due to Paula and her excellent hosting. We felt right at home the second we pulled in and the feeling continued through the guided tour provided by Paula. The space was cozy and beautifully decorated. it came equipped with everything we needed for some home cooking and even a guide book for local places to eat drink and even hike. We had such a great time we extended our trip! We want to give a huge thank you to Paula and Her husband and can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Firefly Mountain house!
I absolutely loved my stay at the Firefly Mountain house! Paula is so sweet and such an incredible host. She met us at the door and gave us a tour of the house so that we would feel comfortable and be ready to start our getaway without a hitch! The whole home was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there was an amazing wood burning stove that made the living room feel even cozier. The home also has other comforts that made it even more lovely like the hot shower with great pressure and the bed that was like sleeping on a cloud! She even stocks the kitchen with eggs from her chickens, local goat cheese, and her own oatmeal mix. Lastly, the Wi-Fi is super fast which is always a nice bonus! I'll definitely be coming back to stay again!

The best place to go!!
If you are looking to disconnect from your busy life this is the best place to go!! Paula and Bob made our visit so special for our anniversary. We just wanted to get away and unplug and we did exactly that! If you’re looking for things to do, the best time to go here is in the Spring til around the end of October. When we went it was very very quiet and private, we were very isolated and there wasn’t much to do but that’s what we wanted! Paula and Bob had set up a beautiful Christmas tree and beautiful indoor Christmas decorations for us to enjoy and also had a list of recommended spots to eat as well as activities and sights to see, so even though we had the intention of doing nothing we were still pleasantly surprised by the amount of things that were available for us to do. We love the coziness of the town of Warrensburg. We will definitely be back and we will absolutely let all our friends and family know about Firefly Mountain and Paula + Bob! Thank you for having us!
