“We loved our vacation at Maple Lodge at Tripp Lake! The house was beautiful and more than enough space for our 2 families totaling 9 people! The beds were very comfortable. The entire house was great, but the sunroom and basement were our favorites. The basement is very large. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. She took the time to check in with me before our arrival to go over some items and make sure we were all set. We loved having access to the beach and kayaks. The tents and chairs that are already at the beach are an added bonus. We enjoyed spending time playing tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball and badminton at the courts located near the beach. Chestertown is one of our favorite spots to visit because it is a 20-25 minute ride to Lake George/Bolton Landing area and Schroon Lake area. We look forward to visiting again!”

“Hi Shelia, Thank you so much for spending time in our home, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. So glad you enjoyed all the amenities Tripp Lake has to offer, it truly is a hidden gem!”
“My family and I had a blast at the Maple Lodge! The weather was great. We spent most of our days at the lake swimming, kayaking and even some fishing. Visits to the lake are easy because everything is there already (beach canopies, chairs, tables, canoes, kayaks). The house had tons of room for my large family to spread out and relax. Big country kitchen and family room with fireplace. Huge basement which was great for watching movies upon return from the beach. You can also sleep at least 6 people down there if the 3 bedrooms upstairs are not enough. 3 full baths and 1 power room. Great screened-in sun porch. Moms favorite room was the quiet corner room with all the windows. For quiet reading and doing puzzles. About a 10-minute drive down to the town of Lake George, with plenty of action for adults and kids. Arcades, steamboat rides, mini-golf, eateries, shops, and the famous Frankenstein wax museum! My children are all 10 and under, and there was plenty for them to do at the lake and in the towns. Some pretty amazing local eats like the "Meat & Deli Store of the North" and the "Main Street Ice Cream Parlor" which has a lot more than ice cream. All-in-all a great getaway vacation house and we will definitely be back next summer!”

“Thanks Gorman's for the great review. The corner enclosed sun room is my favorite room in the house as well! Looking forward to visiting the ice cream parlor as we haven't yet been. See you next year!”
“ We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Maple Lodge. The home was very clean, neat, uncluttered and spacious. We were able to gather as a large group or in smaller more intimate groups. Each room had a ceiling fan and additional fans were available if needed. We were most comfortable even though the weather was very warm. The kitchen was very clean, neatly organized with plenty of counter space and well equipped to cook or bake. There were plenty of various size pots and pans, many kitchen utensils and left over containers as well. Communal outdoor garbage and recycling bins were just across the parking area. (We appreciated not having to visit the dump). Our families appreciated the 3 full baths and powder room especially when getting ready for an outing. There was plenty of hot water for everyone. We found Green Mansions to be quiet and peaceful. It was a short drive to the lake where everyone enjoyed swimming, fishing, playing in the sand and kayaking. We were so glad to have found this home for our Adirondack vacation. ”
