Description
Rustic Adirondack Waterfront Home on the Hudson River: The house is secluded on six acres of land amid hundreds of acres of woods, so privacy and serenity surround you.
You are located in the heart of all the summer and winter activities and yet you can retreat to a world of your own. The quaint town of North Creek and Gore Mountain Ski area are just minutes away.
Things to do in the Spring and Summer:
There are several great rafting and whitewater outfitters locally but if your not interested in a guided tour, then drop a canoe or a tube in upstream and end the adventure downstream by pulling up in front of the house. If you want to cool off we have carved out a wading pool area in front of the house on the river where you can sit and cool. There is a little fire pit on the river and chairs to sit, in and just take in the water and mountain views. There is also a fresh water beach three minutes from the house for swimming fun.
Things to do in the Winter Activities:
You are five minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Area and the new Ski Bowl Park. Cross country skiing trail and hiking trails are minutes from the house. There is also a winter indoor water park 25 minutes away for some splish-splash fun. The house is centrally located within close proximity of Lake George, Great Escape, Water Parks, Horse Back Riding, Kayaking, and Rafting. Great fishing on North Creek, Schroon Lake, Lake George, Indian Lake, Paradox Lake and more.
The house is a beautiful Lincoln Log home. It sleeps seven and has two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room (one room also has a futon), 3rd bedroom is an open cathedral ceiling loft with a queen bed. In addition, we do blowup mattresses and a cot. The house has two full bathrooms, a wood-burning stove, a library of DVDs and VHS movie tapes for your viewing pleasure (there are movies for the children, grown-ups and old-time classics).
We have a screened-in porch as well as an outdoor porch for you to sit and relax and watch the hummingbirds. The property also has a fenced-in yard for your pets. This is a dream spot to enjoy any activity you desire and build beautiful vacation memories for a lifetime. Full House

Wonderful stay
This was our second time staying at this beautiful cabin. The cabin is very clean, and very spacious. The back deck is covered, so if it rains, you can still cook outside, and that screened in porch, you just can’t beat that river view.
Thank you Carol for being such a wonderful host, we will definitely come back next year!!!!!

This I was our second year in a row we had a fabulous , relaxing family vacation . Carol made us feel at home and even are pets were welcome we had everything we needed even the firewood ! We enjoyed tubing and the river campfire . We didn't feel the need to go anywhere and carol made it so we didn't have to. Looking forward to next year!!

Lovely time had
Lovely and comfortable house. Kids and husband had a great time playing badminton and watching movies. We focused our visit on checking out a couple of the local gorgeous waterfalls. Auger Falls is spectacular! And also spent a couple of afternoons drifting down the river in the tubes. Nice fire pit right on the river! Enjoy your stay.

We had a lovely time staying at Carol’s place in North Creek for a week. We did have some wifi issues due to service upgrades that were happening in the area, but Carol was extremely helpful and responsive and even refunded a portion of the total due to the inconvenience. The location was great with access to everything in the area we were hoping to do, though there is a fairly busy road across the river that created a bit of unexpected noise. All in all, we had a lovely time on our family vacation! The place was as-pictured and well-stocked with everything we needed. Thanks, Carol!

We loved staying here! 2 couples and 2 kids fit comfortably- one couple slept in...
We loved staying here! 2 couples and 2 kids fit comfortably- one couple slept in the loft bed (open to the living room via a balcony), which was no problem. We especially loved the toys, games, and puzzles in the upstairs closet and tubing down the river (with tubes that live on the screen porch). Grilling on the gas grill was lovely, even in the rain, since it's covered by the deck roof.
