Peace and quiet are yours to enjoy in this 4-bedroom year-round home nestled in a cove in scenic Washer-womans Bay along-side one of the many islands sprinkled on pristine Trout Lake, one of the true gems of the Adirondacks.
The masonry waterfront decking attached to the house offers spectacular views and a wonderful place for swimming, sunning, cooking out on a waterside fireplace/grill, or just plain relaxing in the shade of the beautiful pines. One-third of the lake is forever wild and features a 1,600-acre state park that is great for hiking and exploring.
The lake is stocked annually with a variety of fish including rainbow and lake trout, large and smallmouth bass. Perch and rock bass naturally abound so there is great fishing for the kids too. You are only an hour's drive from the high peaks region and 50 min. from some of the best white-water rafting in the US. The house has a sandy and shallow swimming area perfect for young kids, there is also a canoe available to explore the lake.
This Adirondack home has a cozy kitchen with all the amenities and stunning views, a great room with a wood-burning fireplace, a sunny deck located right off the kitchen, 3 bedrooms on the main floor, a private bedroom on the lower level of the house with huge windows looking out to the water, you will feel you are sleeping literally at the water's edge because you are! this bedroom has its own bathroom attached to it and its own entrance. (Note: this bedroom is not accessible from within the house). there are beds for 8 in the house and a bunk bed in the bunkhouse which looks down on a serene water passageway separating the property from an island. It is a peaceful and private setting nestled in a pristine cove on a truly beautiful lake.
A full bath with a tub/shower combo is on the first floor, this main bath actually has a full tub/shower as well as a stand-up shower all in the same bathroom so you can get many kids cleaned up for dinner in a flash! and just off the entranceway is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
This is a great place to relax, share wonderful moments with family and friends, and get reconnected to all that matters.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
This property is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a place to unwind on a quiet lake. From the kitchen you access the deck and can enjoy your coffee with full view of the lake. Amenities include a canoe and paddle boat, which are in great shape. They are a perfect way to spend a leisurely day on the water. There are two master bedrooms with bathrooms, and each has a magnificent view of the lake. We visited with four people and had more space than we needed. I highly recommend this property. It is everything it appears to be and more. The property is amazing, and you will not be disappointed!
