Description
ADK Mountain Chalet is a modern cabin with a heated pool, three-bedroom log home vacation rental located on a hill outside the town of Warrensburg. It can accommodate 10 guests. An ideal location, river access 3 mins away and Lake George 15 mins away.
Plenty of great hiking nearby and in general many fun family things to do in the area. Our property sits in 3 acres abutting 100 acres of trees.
ADK Mountain Chalet is a great place to relax with friends and family. Enjoy the mountain fresh air, swim in the pool, wander on the property or hike the many nearby mountains. Ski or snowmobile in the winter, have conversation over wine on the spacious deck and s’mores at the fire pit. Disconnect by the pond during the day or let your mind dream while staring at the stars at night.
Inside there are three comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and every modern convenience. An outdoor living and dining area, a spacious and fully stocked open kitchen and dining room with sliding doors to an extensive deck with great views of the mountains. The deck has a gas barbecue grill, large table and sitting area.
The entry level, has the foyer, one bedroom and the family room, also an area for chess, foosball and extra seating. The main level is a big open space, dining room, kitchen, a full bath with a tub/shower, washer/dryer and three seating areas. The top floor holds a bedroom with a king bed, seating area and desk area, the second bedroom in this floor, has 4 beds, two full size and two twin size, and toys for kids to play, these two bedrooms have access to a full bath with standing shower.
The family room has a TV with all streaming services, a nook seating area with an oversized chess and foosball table, lots of board games and high speed internet.
Outdoors you will find a heated spacious pool with lounge chairs and a dining area. A spacious property with a fire pit, complete with Adirondack chairs, and a hammock to enjoy the fresh air. Two Kayaks, plenty of outdoor games and a calm pond next to grassy patch surrounded by trees which is the perfect place to play or have a picnic.
Ask about additional parking for your snowmobile trailer or boat trailer.

Additional Property Information
Our property is on a hill which provides great mountain views but limits accessibility for people with movement limitations, also there are two sets of stairs.
There is so much to do in this area. We are close to Lake George, Gore Mountain, Hickory Ski Center, Oscar's Smoke House, Six Flags Great Escape, Camp Grounds, Rail Trails, River Rafting, Snowmobiling, and More. We have a canoe launch at the bottom of our road where you can enjoy kayaking or float on some tubes tied together on the Hudson River. There is close access within minutes to the 100 mile snowmobile trail system to Speculator. We have plenty of parking for snowmobile or boat trailers too. Stay with us and launch your boat in the lake for the week. Marina's are a few minutes down Diamond Point Road.

Policies
- Strict no parties policy.
- Max guests: 10 (sleeps up to 8 adults)
Occupancy limits strictly monitored and enforced.
- Minimum age of primary renter: 28 years of age to book.
- No smoking in the house or on decks.
- The house has open railings on the stairs which may be a concern for children under 5 years old.
- The property can not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation.
- Minors under the age of 18 shall not utilize the pool unsupervised. Unsupervised use by children is strictly prohibited. Never leave children alone in the vicinity of the pool or pond.
- No glass is allowed in the pool area or in the pool. If any damage occurs to the pool liner, the guest is responsible for full replacement of the pool liner.
-No children allowed on the top floor deck.
- No driving or parking on the lawn. All vehicles are to always be on the driveway at all times.
- Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
50% refund of amount paid (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before check-in.
About the Owner
Our family has been enjoying the Adirondacks since childhood. We recently purchased our ADK Mountain Chalet, which is a log home on a hill outside the town of Warrensburg, 15 minutes from Lake George. We are an adventurous family of 6 that enjoys exploring everything the Lake George area has to offer, from boating and enjoying our pool in the summer, to snowmobiling in the winter, and leaf peeping and hiking in the Fall. We are excited to share our cozy place with you.

Beautiful House and great outdoors
Gorgeous house next to Lake George. The house is located on a quiet street and filled with light. It is very stylishly decorated with a beautiful deck and garden. The bedrooms are large and have very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and was put to good use! The garden is perfect for kids to play around in or throw ball around. Suhail was super reactive to any questions or query. Lake George is a short drive away as well as Saratoga Springs. Highly recommend for families or small group getaway!

Perfect place
The Birch House cabin was a perfect place for our family vacation to the Lake George area. Accommodations were even nicer than advertised, the location was perfectly situated close to the lake while offering peaceful detachment. The pool and games for the kids, and adults, left our boys asking “can we go back next summer?”. That answer is surely yes!

Incredible property
Having been my family and I’s first AirBNB experience - I am so glad we chose Suhail’s property The Birch House. Suhail is an incredible host and this property has everything you can possibly need for a mini getaway. My family and I especially loved the huge variety of games that we played every night after a fun day in the pool. The pool was heated and ranged from shallow to deep which was very much appreciated by the taller people in the group. Not to go unnoticed was her impeccable interior designing! We were in awe every morning and afternoon, when we sat for breakfast and dinner and just admired the beautiful design of the house. The property is also very conveniently a few minutes away from a grocery store and a short drive into town. Definitely will be recommending this property to my friends and family. Lovely place
The Birch House is a lovely place to stay that is centrally located to all Lake George activities. Everything was within a 15-20 minute drive. It is cozy and charming while spacious. The outdoor space is great between the pool (which is bigger than what it looks like), fire pit area, hammock, and deck. Suhail was a lovely host who constantly communicated and has thought through every detail. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin with pool
We needed a place to get away and just chill and Suhail's cabin was perfect. It's charming and cozy and thoughtfully stocked up on all the little things you need to feel at home. The pool was especially nice and relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake nearby and hiking, but mostly loved just hanging out on the deck and lounging on the hammock. Suhail is an excellent host who made us feel very welcome. We'll definitely be back to check it out in the winter for skiing.

VERY spacious and comfortable
The Birch House has everything you hope for and more! VERY spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and the lower level has games galore for children. Suhail is very easy to communicate with and we had a wonderful time!

Great winter getaway
This house truly had it all. We had 4 adults and 2 children (11,14). Plenty of space and things to do. We played the games provided and made our own sledding hill by the fire pit. Host was very responsive for any questions. We would definitely rent again!

Perfect mountain escape

Perfect Location
We had a great time at the Birch house. The location was perfect- in the mountains, very quiet and serene but yet just a short drive to all activities. The property was very nice- we woke up to see a family of deer grazing every morning. Our kids loved the heated pool. The house is well appointed- very thoughtfully designed for that perfect cabin in the woods feel but with modern amenities. There are lots of steps so elderly people and/or children with disabilities should be aware of that. We had both categories in our group but once they got used to the layout everyone was all good. Suhail was very responsive but yet respectful of our privacy. Thank you!

Amazing house
The house was amazing. It is so spacious (especially the deck off the kitchen) and beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet and the pool most of all. Suhail was very communicative and whatever questions/issues we had were handled immediately. I can highly recommend this house!
