The setting is one of the most peaceful you will find anywhere within the Adirondack Park and offers a level, sandy waterfront where family and friends can enjoy swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, campfires and spectacular sunsets.
The 710-acre lake is quiet, with minimal boat traffic, and set against a backdrop of islands, forests, and mountains.
You will experience the feeling of a resort where you come to unplug, unwind, and leave your worries at home. It’s where you’ll enjoy the company of family, friends, and nature. A family canoe, and 3 kayaks are provided for you to explore over 8 miles of shoreline with countless cutbacks, bays, and coves. It’s almost a half-mile wide in some areas. There are fewer than 25 homes on this lake and 90% of the shoreline is complete wilderness. Paddle to the public islands to have picnic lunches or stop at one of the many sandy beaches along the lakeshore to cool off and swim if you like.
The cabin offers 1800 square feet of living space and 850 square feet of deck space with spectacular views of the lake and mountains. The interior features a first-floor bedroom and full bathroom, dining and living areas, and an open floor plan with gorgeous hickory floors. The kitchen has all new appliances and cabinets and the living area, with new furnishings, also includes a Vermont Castings glass front wood stove. It’s the perfect place to gather after a fun-filled day on the water, where you can play games, enjoy great conversations, or catch up on a good book.
The 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor are fully carpeted and also have comfortable furnishings. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are 10’x12’ and each has a 4’x4’ skylight to let the sun in during the day and let you gaze at the stars at night. The huge primary bedroom (17’x29’) features a TV, couch, love seat and 6’ slider to the upper private deck overlooking the lake, two 4’x4’ skylights, T&G pine ceiling and a circulating fan. Please note: this property has a maximum of eight guest.
The full bathrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are each tile and have walk-in showers. No need to bring in water as there is an absolutely pure spring well. If it gets cold, the furnace will kick on. Lake Placid and the high peaks region is just an hour and a half to the east and the University cities of Potsdam and Canton are about 30 minutes away. Sorry - No pets.
If you can pull yourselves away from the fun on the water, there’s a lot to do for all interests from mountain climbing, hiking, waterfall trails, and white water rafting, to museums and live theatre, all within a short drive. Come stay at our summer home and enjoy the peace, beauty, and tranquility of these special waters and surroundings. You’ll create memories that will last a lifetime! More Details

I stay for 3 night, 4 days and really enjoy the stay with my family. The kids were in the water entire time and the the adults was able to rest and relax and go on the water when needed. I highly recommend…..

We were there for a few days with friends for a family vacation. The house is spacious with great common space on the bottom floor and we had plenty of beds and rooms for all 8 of us. Having two full baths worked well since each family had their own. The house is in excellent condition - it is easy to see that the owners care about the house!
We enjoyed the outdoor space to its fullest! We did kayaking and swam in the lake, played corn hole on the grass, at dusk we sat in the screened in porch where we enjoyed the sunset without the mosquitoes, ate meals on the deck and made s’mores in the fire pit at nights.
Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back next year!
