My name is Ted Welter and my wife Jackie and I love the Point. This is our 4th vacation home here. We sold one but still have the other 3 available for rent. If our Beach House doesn't fit your needs please let us know and we'll be happy to tell you about the other 2.
Ted Welter purchased this House in 2017
Why Ted Welter chose Sodus Point
We fell in love with this large house and fantastic location several years ago when we rented it. In 2017 we got the opportunity to purchase it and jumped as we know this is one of the best locations at the Point and the only 6-bedroom, 3-bath rental home in the area.
What makes this House unique
Location, location, location -- plus the 6 bedrooms and huge great room.
We had a large family group with adults and small children and this property was perfect for our long weekend getaway. It is just one house off the beach with easy access to the water and sand, walking distance to restaurants/bars and the gas station. We had a great time and we’re sad to leave. Would highly recommend for anyone with a large group looking to enjoy some time together.

Very impressed with how smooth everything went especially during this time. My communication with Ted was super easy with quick responses. Totally appreciated that. Loved the house. lots of room and great amenities.
Just a couple little things. There were many carpenter ants. I'm not sure the floors were very clean. The trees made a huge mess on our cars. Is there a way to clean them without taking the paint off? Very sticky. Just wondering if you have any tips.
It was a fun, fun weekend. Thank you.
Garbage never came so I'm hoping they come sometime today. I'm thinking that is because if the Holiday? So the garbage cans are out front. We did contact Boy scouts to pick up cans. they are on the deck next to the grill. Thanks again!

This home was perfect for our annual sisters gathering. There were plenty of beds and lots of comfortable living space for our 8 sisters caring and sharing time together. Walking the beach to collect colorful stones and hiking the bluffs to enjoy the fall colors was a plus. We look forward to returning here for another sisters weekend.

We had a reunion of girlfriends who all turned 60 this year There were 9 of us & we had plenty of room to spread out. No one had to share s bed. Being on the beach was perfect!

The house inside is very nice. Close to the beach and pier. The only thing that upset me was i was not told about needing sheets for the beds. Or the need of towels. My husband and I have rented alot of houses and never ran into that.

This place is very close to the beach and is large enough for everyone to enjoy themselves. Kitchen utensils could be upgraded (can opener did not work, cutting knives could be better, but pans and bowls were sufficient to prepare meals). Would stay again.

Easily accommodates a large group.
Wonderful communication by the owner.
Only draw back is having to bring your own sheets and towels.

Very straight forward info and well explained. We were very happy with the entire experience.

Great a accommodations and amenities I
We all enjoyed the beach and easy access to town. Our reunion was a total success.

This cottage provided a comfortable stay just as advertised. The openness of the living space well accommodates large groups. Especially, I noticed an attention to details in the provisions......an iron and board, a bookshelf area that served as an ideal charging station, a second refrigerator for beverages, an extra bar sink. Most importantly, I experienced a natural problem with the house and the owner immediately fixed it. The Lake proximity and the house itself make this an ideal rental.
