Located in the already historically rich area that is the Hudson Valley, the Central House has seen many eras and characters.
The structure was established in 1876 and since then has been a focal point of Germantown. Space has served as a brothel, a speakeasy, a stagecoach house, and various restaurants. At one point it was owned and managed by the Rockefeller family in the early twentieth century. Click here to see the past in photos. Central House boasts six beautiful, well-appointed rooms each with luxurious Vera Wang Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses, wireless internet service, flat-screen TVs, and private baths.
Please inquire for information regarding canoeing, tubing, and kayaking on the Hudson River, a day of golf at Waterway Hills, numerous nearby state parks, horseback riding, Hiking in and around Kaaterskill Falls and Tivoli Bays, events at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodome, the historical Clermont Home and beyond! We hope to see you soon, The Lueck Family and Central House Staff
