If you are looking for an immaculately clean and charming one-level house with a manicured fenced-in backyard in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the bustling quaint Village of Saugerties, and nearby four-season activities, then look no further. The Tamarack will provide you with a most pleasant and relaxing stay at an incredibly affordable price.
Three bedrooms can accommodate up to (6) people with the use of (2) queen size and (1) twin-size mattresses and an air mattress. A fully equipped kitchen, nearby grocery and wine/liquor stores, and a Weber grill on the backyard bluestone patio offer everything needed to cook as much or as little as you want. A cushioned glider chair in the breezeway is a peaceful nook to enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine while reading a book or just watching the small-town activity of the neighborhood.
A firepit, hammock, full patio umbrella, colorful gardens, and a grassy backyard provide an oasis for dining, napping, recreational games, and for your pooch to get a little exercise.
What is The Tamarack you ask? It is in this backyard you will find a very unique and special tree, The Tamarack, which is the namesake of this rental home.
WiFi and SmartTV/Firestick enables remote work and streaming movies or sports. Ceiling fans and natural breezes through the many windows provide a fresh air atmosphere in the mild weather months. Air conditioning comfort in the summer can be customized with a split unit in each room. The natural gas cast iron baseboard radiators fill the home with the coziest warmth in the cooler months. The home decor is simplistic yet classy with seasonal touches.
A vast collection of information on local activities, places to visit, maps, menus, and historic information is available to review once you get settled. You will need multiple visits to The Tamarack to take advantage of all this picturesque area has to offer in every season.
Self-check-in is available if the nearby host is unavailable. Check-out is not until noontime on the day of departure so the guests aren't feeling rushed after their stay and to allow sufficient time to follow the check-out procedures.
Please consider The Tamarack for your lodging needs in the mid Hudson Valley!

I own the property and live only 10 minutes away. I have 5 years of previous short-term rental experience through AirBnB prior to the Covid-19 pandemic and have recently decided to once again offer this home to short-term vacation renters (less than 30 days) and longer-term rentals (between 30 and 90-days) to travel nurses and professionals. I value the experience of interacting personally with potential guests rather than through a third-party service like VRBO and AirBnB. Travel is one of my favorite things to do and I get discouraged when the cost of lodging prevents me from traveling to an area I would like to visit. My goal is to provide an ideal home in a relaxing, beautiful setting and make it an affordable option for those of us consumed by wanderlust.
