Description
Secluded and romantic log cabin sits on 85 acres of wooded and varied terrain with its own 3.5 acre lake. Rent the cabin and you get a lake!! Closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away! The cabin has a wood burning fireplace with wood provided, covered front porch overlooking the lake, comfortable queen sized sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen (no oven), and much ambiance!! There is a rowboat in addition to inflatables for your enjoyment and fishing is great! Many large mouth bass just waiting to be caught but bring your own fishing gear and throw back what you don't cook! In season there is a fresh herb garden. You have a choice of a Weber gas grill or charcoal BBQ for your outdoor cooking.
We provide the charcoal. We have a trail map - a 40' gorge - and benches scattered throughout the property. Directly adjoing our property is the 105 acre Winnakee Land Trust with 3 miles of hiking trails! There is an abundance of wildlife - deer, geese, heron, fish, frogs, turtles, Yes- there are snakes but none are poisonous, and because I don't feed the birds in the summer the bears stay away from us. The cabin is a very special and romantic place! Anniversaries, birthdays, and numerous proposals have been celebrated here!!!

Policies
A lease agreement will be e-mailed to prospective guests for review and a signed copy must be returned prior to your arrival.
A secuity deposit of $300 is required from all first time guests. This separate check will be returned to guests upon their departure assuming there is no damage.
14-29 days prior to arrival - 50% refund.
0-13 days rior to arrival - no refund
FULL refund given if alternative rental is obtained.
Payment to be personal checks which must be received at least 10 days prior to arrival.
No pets.
No guns.
No illegal drugs.
No smoking in cabin (pick up butts when outdoors).
About the Owner
Serge and Karen Sergio live at one end of the property while the cabin and lake are at the other end - about 1/4mile away. We are full time residents and available at all times in case we are needed.
