If you're visiting during the other seasons, explore the miles of hiking trails offering countless routes through unforgettable scenery and endless views of the Adirondacks; go canoeing or kayaking on the Lake or test your luck fishing. For foodies, there's also no shortage of farm-to-table seasonal culinary offerings, fantastic local restaurants, and artisan breweries to tap into. The perfect educational day-outing for families includes a visit to The Wild Center with its suspended tree-canopy walkway and the Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory. Stroll through the Tupper Art Center to view the creative works by local artists, or visit the Six Nations Indian Museum.
With over six million acres in the Adirondack Park, there are many amazing things to encounter, Tupper Lake makes for the ideal escape to start an adventure! Tucked away along the scenic calm waters of Tupper Lake, guests can dwell within a marvelous wooded lodge-residence retreat that is set on 14-acres of secluded property and its very own 1500-ft of waterfront.
The residence is outfitted with an entire wall of picture windows and French doors as well as enclosed porches and large open decks that all overlook the awe-inspiring vistas. Each of the 7 spacious bedrooms offers views to the surrounding lake. There is a natural beach that is an ideal launch -point for kayaks, paddleboards and canoes. The docks offer areas for docking motor crafts and swimming. The natural fire pit on the granite point offers a respite for observing both family fun on the water and glorious sunsets.
The property's spacious interior crafted in classic Adirondack style encompasses three levels of multiple gathering and entertaining areas, making it the perfect vacation residence for a large family and friends group.
The original 5 bedroom camp built-in 1901 has been fully restored and with the newly built great camp offers 9,000 square feet of entertainment and living area. Custom built with architectural natural elements of stone and wood, this lake house showcases beautiful interior and exterior spaces and is meticulously decorated with fine furnishings throughout. Gather around in the Great Room with its vaulted high ceilings and stone fireplace, while marveling at the lovely lake views from either inside or out on the expansive wooden deck.
Enjoy cooking and entertaining in the fully-equipped Chef's Kitchen (including a separate prep area with additional refrigerator and freezer); dine around together for family meals in the Dining Room or out on the screened-in dining lounge and deck area; sip crafted cocktails in the clubby ambiance of the handsome bar or escape into the wine room.
Slumber in any of the wonderful Ralph-Lauren-inspired seven bedrooms all with lake views, each uniquely decorated with Americana luxury furnishings, posh bedding and linens; even the seven spacious bathrooms evoke an outdoorsy-wooded retreat ambiance, with lovely tubs and showers. Wander into the backyard to find an oasis of serenity, provided by the Lake views, small sandy cove beach for swimming, Adirondack seating and deck space with chaise recliners.
Swimming is allowed on the beach and off the dock pier. Guests have access to canoe, kayaks and stand-up paddle-boards, including a water trampoline (depending on time of year). When visiting during the winter season, guests can enjoy ice skating on the lake in the front yard. Larkin Point Pontoon boat available for rental. Additional boats are available nearby for rent for exploring the lake and fishing outings.

“Larkin Point is an exquisite high end rental property in every sense. The house itself is stunning, and for a large property conveys a sense of warmth and coziness no matter the size of your party. The great room is vast, but sectioned perfectly, so cooking and hanging out in the kitchen, reading looking over the lake or just chilling watching tv feel separate but connected. The views are spectacular and provide calmness and relaxation as soon you enter through the front door. Within an hour of arriving all of our family, aged from 14 to 75, felt at home and the stress dissipating. Any thing you may have forgotten is likely to be on hand in the bedrooms and bathrooms which is an additional touch which makes appreciate how much the owner has thought about the comfort of their guests. The main deck overlooking the lake is a perfect place to eat, sit and read a book and have evening cocktails before dinner. The highlight for our family was the properties position on the lake and its unobstructed view. It is a short and easy walk down to the boathouse and firepit areas, with solar lights at night. It is deep enough to jump in off the dock and swim to the water trampoline which kept most of us amused several times a day. The boat rental is an extra touch that saves on the usual hassle and lottery of renting from a local marina. We have rented similar properties for family holidays for many years and Larkin Point stands head and shoulders above anything else. On first glance it seems an expensive proposition, but our family agreed it was well worth it. We will be back!”

“Our extended family had the pleasure of staying at Larkin Point early in August. There were 12 of us, ranging in age from almost 1 year through 66 years. It was the perfect setting to all be together and enjoy each other and beautiful Tupper Lake. We have rented many properties over the years for our family vacations, and this is the most spectacular. The furnishings are beautiful as well as comfortable and the house is immaculate. Every detail has been carefully planned by the owners, such as 3 laundry rooms, plenty of towels, linens, and even a closet of beach towels. The kitchen was great to cook meals for our group and is very well equipped. The sandy beach was great for our young grandchildren to access the water and play in the sand and the teenagers had a great time on the water trampoline. We also rented the pontoon boat which enabled us to enjoy lovely rides on the lake. We climbed Coney mountain as a group, visited the Wild Center, shopped in Sarnac Lake and sampled some of the great food from local eateries in Tupper. Overall, it was a perfect week for our family vacation. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and eager to make our stay wonderful. We highly recommend this property!”

“What a wonderful property! We rented Larkin Point the last week of June/ first week of July, and an amazing time was enjoyed by all in our group of 12, spanning age eighteen months to age 82. The home, grounds, view, and setting are every bit as beautiful as all the photos show. The owners have thought of everything to make anyone's vacation special - from the well-equipped kitchen, to the toiletries in the bathroom, to the waterfront and recreational gear. They were also very responsive to any questions we had. We have vacationed in the Adirondacks every summer for a week for over 30 years, and Larkin Point is by far the best place we have ever stayed. It was made for lasting memories.”
