Beautiful Camp Daggett is located at 5688 North Shore Road on Brantingham Lake. The house is roughly between Grant Island and Dark Island and directly on the lake. Tim and Melissa Daggett are the owners/managers, and the camp has been in Tim’s family since 1967. We also own the lot directly across from the camp, so it can be used for recreation - horseshoes, volleyball, etc.- and overflow parking. The camp is completely furnished.
The kitchen has all major appliances with the exception of a dishwasher. There are numerous new small appliances such as a K-pod coffee maker, slow-cooker, regular coffee maker, mixer, blender, electric grill, etc. In addition, there are all necessary silverware, dishes, glasses, and bar gizmos. We also have a gas barbecue, fire pit and outdoor furniture. And there is a washer and dryer. There are three bedrooms, two have breathtaking views of the lake. The master bedroom has a queen bed; the second has twin beds; and the third has a full bed. There is a great room with a 43” TV and a DVD player plus a good selection of DVDs. Yes, we have cable. We also have Amazon Prime and Netflix.
The great room also has some beautiful hand made furniture that Tim’s dad built. There is a sofa-sleeper. It’s really comfy. There is a bar area and a home office area with a printer and 24" monitor. The master bedroom also has a TV with Netflix and a DVD player. The camp is connected to the Internet, and we have Wi-Fi. The deck is spacious and has a spectacular panoramic view of the lake with 60’ of lakefront footage. There is a fire pit with seating plus a wooden deck. The camp is accessible for most handicapped people. My son has CP and with a little help can go down to the waterfront. The slope to the waterfront may be daunting for people with mobility issues. We recently added a 20 foot aluminum Northern Lights dock.
The weekly rate for June, September and October is $950. The weekly rate for August is $1250. There is a refundable $300 damage deposit.
NEW FOR 2022: We now have to charge a 5% occupancy tax for Lewis County. The tax will be accessed on the rental fee.
There is an extra non-refundable $50 charge for a pet. There is a limit of two pets. Pets need to be approved by the owners.
Although there is room for more than 6 occupants, we have set the limit to 6 because there is only one toilet.
We own the lot across the road, so there is ample parking. the empty lot can be used for recreation such as volleyball or horseshoes.
