Description
The house is light and airy, with easterly and westerly exposures for all-day sunshine. It is perfectly set up for entertaining, but also allows everyone to have their own space. We have thoughtfully furnished the home for both relaxation and work-from-home. The outdoor area with heated pool and spa is simply glorious. A fire pit is under construction (open fall 2026).
Pool lights and string lights make your evenings magical. The primary suite has a king-sized bed with Kluft mattress, and an ensuite with a deep-soaking tub, separate shower, toilet, and double vanity. The junior suite has a queen-sized bed, an ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity. It also has a rolling trundle for a child. Both bedrooms have televisions and desks for work. A third bedroom has a queen-sized bed (meant for teens/ small adults) and hanging rattan chair for reading or dreaming. A fourth bedroom is set up for kids with two twin beds and a rolling trundle.
Plenty of toys and kids books for every age are in the closet, as well as a nightlight and white noise machine. There is a large washing machine and tumble dryer in a closet upstairs. It is stocked with detergent and fabric softener. There is a linen closet bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. There are also beach/pool towels. Downstairs is a family room with 75" TV and gas fireplace, a separate lounge, dining room, and an entertainer's kitchen with beverage fridge.
You will find the kitchen fully stocked with coffee, coffee bean grinder, teas, spices, oils and vinegars. The stove has a griddle for easy, indulgent breakfasts. There is a Vitamix blender, toaster oven/ air fryer, semi-automatic espresso machine, drip coffee machine, and kettle. We have Noritake stoneware, as well as Corelle everyday white crockery, and melamine and acrylic sets for outdoor use.
Outside is a teak dining table for 10, with large central umbrella that provides shade for everyone. There is an outdoor lounge with portable umbrella and ottoman. By the pool are two teak double chaise lounges with umbrellas and four low chaises. In the garage are two of the most comfortable zero gravity chairs for use by the pool or on the porch.
We have everything you might need for your North Fork vacation. Lawn games, beach chairs, umbrellas, chairs, beach tents, beach bags, beach cart, beach and pool toys, corn hole, giant connect-four, many balls for various games, scooters, coolers, and more! The home is well set-up for families with two bassinets, a pack-n-play, baby bath tub, changing table, high chair, bouncer, and play mat.
The backyard has a three-piece swing set. The pool is fully fenced for safety. Farm stands, antique stores, wineries, beaches, bays, as well as Greenport village, are just minutes away.

Pool heat is charged to guests separately after departure.
TOILETS
Like most of Suffolk County, this property has a cesspool for sewage. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. Use only septic-safe toilet paper (some suggestions):

- Angel Soft toilet paper
PLUMBING
Please do not pour oil down any drain. Cool it, put it in a plastic bag, freeze, and dispose of with the regular trash. We also have oil soldifier available. Damage to pipes may result in a fee.
TRASH COLLECTION
The trash is collected once a week on a Monday. Use regular tall kitchen bags and then put several in a Southold Town YELLOW bag and placed in the trash cans on the side of the house. Recycling is collected every other week on a Thursday. There is no need to separate categories, just put together in a clear/blue bag and add to the recycling trash can on the side of the house.
SHOES
Please remove shoes before walking on the carpets or going upstairs.
POOL
Use of pool is at your own risk. No glassware by pool. Please ask your children to use the toilet prior to entering the pool and at regular intervals while swimming. An excessively dirty pool or a pool company call-out will result in an additional fee.
FIRES AND FIREARMS
No firearms. No fireworks. No candles. No smoking.
STARS ROAD PRIVATE BEACH
The Stars Rd Association maintains a private beach at the end of the road that only residents are allowed to use. You may use it as our guest, but please be respectful. There is no parking at the entrance to the beach.
About the Owner
We are Australian-Americans living in NYC. We fell in love with the North Fork a decade ago and built a home here in 2020. We love the farm stands, wineries, beaches, restaurants, towns and hamlets. As soon as we turn onto Sound Ave we feel relaxed!

Beautiful
Lara’s place was beautiful and from the beginning, felt like home. The house was so well equipped and Lara thought of everything you might possibly need. The kitchen was extremely well stocked which made it so enjoyable to cook delicious meals in. There were so many great toys for the grandkids. Lara was even kind enough to leave us a changing table and small crib for our use. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of beach towels, and the pool and jacuzzi were so inviting.
I can’t say enough about what a terrific Airbnb it was. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking of renting. We had a lovely family reunion and made many new wonderful memories in the beautiful North Fork area.

Magnificent
Where to start … we had a magnificent week at Lara’s house with our family. It is truly more spectacular than the pictures and has every possible detail taken care of from kitchen supplies to pool floats to silky sheets. The area is also perfect with farm stands, restaurants, and beaches. Thank you for sharing your home with us - we hope to be back very soon!

One of the best
Where do I start… Lara’s home is one of the best AirBnBs I’ve ever booked. We stayed here for a couple of weeks over the Thanksgiving holiday and hosted our extended family for Thanksgiving. The house is super comfortable and well-stocked, especially if you have kids - Lara reached out several weeks before check in to see if we needed any specific items (cribs, pack-n-plays etc) for my nephews (3 and 5 YO), and when we arrived we found the kitchen stocked with organic juice boxes and kids snacks. There are also a ton of toys and games for kids, and my nephews loved the swing set in the backyard and the playground around the corner from the house.
The house is exactly as described in photos/listing, and has everything you would need or want for your vacation. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked - I cooked Thanksgiving dinner there! This is the perfect house for entertaining.
Location is also great - super close to great restaurants, bars, shops and farm stands. Highly recommend!

An absolute pleasure
What an absolute pleasure to spend time here!
From the photos you can tell this is a beautiful home with some great amenities. Of course the pool and hot tub was the highlight but we also enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, the swing set, the large family room and open kitchen.
This entire home is thoughtfully designed and decorated making it a great place to spend time with an extended group – in our case 4 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 2 to 10.
Lara has done a great job balancing style and comfort here. The entire home was very well cleaned and set up for our stay. A lot of thought and hospitality has gone into finishing and fitting it out to make it as comfortable as possible, providing just about anything one could need during our stay including lots of towels, baby items (including a folding crib rather than a playpen), toys, books, pool floaties, a well stocked spice rack and spacious washer and dryer.
We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to return.

If you are debating whether or not to stay here, do not hesitate
If you are debating whether or not to stay here, do not hesitate. Just book it. Especially if you are traveling with kids, then FOR SURE book it. This is by far the best AirBnb we've ever stayed at. The house is brand new and absolutely gorgeous (even better than the photos). Lara has thoughtfully stocked the house with everything you could possibly need, from kitchen appliances to toiletries to pool toys galore. The kids in our group ranged in age from almost 2 to 12, and they all had a total blast in the pool every day. The location is ideal for exploring everything that the North Fork has to offer—farms, vineyards, beaches, charming towns and amazing food. We are itching to come back as soon as we can!

Truly beautiful
The home is truly beautiful and really nicely furnished - we travel all over the world and have rented lots of houses with this one taking a spot right at the top! Everything is of highest quality and fully equipped to the last detail. The kitchen has everything a top chef might need and want and everything is basically brand new. The furniture is classy and stylish, while at the same time super comfortable. This is a perfect house for a family with kids both young and old with toys aplenty. Lots to do inside and out - the pool and hot tub are so relaxing and wild deer, turkeys and turtles walk around just outside the property. The little town nearby has great restaurants serving a wide variety of foods and there are plenty of vineyards to visit in the area. Lara is a great host - super responsive, friendly and helpful. The house is very clean and just makes you feel right at home. We can't wait to return.
