Description
This luxurious beach vacation home sits directly on the beach with a cozy wrap-around porch. This home is filled with beautiful furnishings. The great room is filled with large windows overlooking the serene sunsets. Great entertaining beach house. There is a beautiful fireplace in the living room. The kitchen and dining areas are all brand new with beautiful white cabinets and kitchen island.
This home has central air and heating and is available all year round. Free wifi and cable TV. Free parking. You have access to kayaks, fishing poles, and bikes! (All our homes come complete with everything you need, just bring food & clothing).
Long Island vineyards and North Fork farm stands are nearby. There's a five star restaurant across the street and boosts a tiki style bar where you can relax with a drink. This home is surrounded by the ocean and nature reserve. It's a great beach town community. It's close to the Tanger Outlet Mall, East Wind Day Spa, Atlantis Marine World, Splish Splash Water Park, Long Island Skydive, and so much more. It is only 25 minutes away from the Hamptons, Greenport and Shelter Island. A nice drive to Montauk and Fire Island.

Exactly as depicted, an amazing view, and just off the back deck down to the beach. This is the north shore of Long Island, so the beaches are largely rocky, but they are beautiful. You can walk for miles and miles. The village has all the amenities you would need.

Property is great. Other than the cleanliness issue (big spider web on front door, blinds very dirty, kitchen table not wiped clean) the home was nice. Great location and the ladies were resposive when I contacted them.

Amazing!
A beautiful waterfront home with private beach access, what more can you ask for? The check-in / check-out process was very easy and management was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Overall it's a 10/10!! We will be back again.

Beach haven
Beautiful unique location right on the beach - haven’t had privacy and quiet like this for a long time. House was perfect for myself, partner and our 2 kids who loved the beach, the house and the local eateries. Would come back again for sure. Virginia and Debbie were very responsive to a few questions we had and were great hosts.

We were very happy with the house on arrival - very clean, cool and light and airy just as the photos showed. The real gem of this home is the outdoor deck which has incredible views of the beach which was only a few steps away. The deck was large and had plenty of new umbrellas and lounges chairs as well as a large dining table and chairs. The hosts were very responsive to every single need and question and took care of a BBQ problem in one day by purchasing a new one and having it installed within 24 hours. We enjoyed taking long walks in both directions, collecting beautiful rocks and painting some of them. The kayaks were put to good use! We would rent this place again.

WAS TOLD BEACH FIRES WERE OKAY BEFORE BOOKING BUT WAS TOLD THEY WERE NOT WHEN WE TRIED TO LIGHT ONE.
I am a frequent flyer for the myriad of vacation rentals and I've stayed in everything from mountain cabins to city condos to beach front homes (like this one), so I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.
THE GOOD: This place is probably the nicest location I've ever
stayed at. The entire premises was impeccably clean and kitchen was very well appointed. There were plenty of extra linens & towels, and the beds & furniture were very comfortable.
THE BAD: Before I booked this place, I specifically asked if we could light a beach fire and was enticingly told "YES"! Being the winter in NY, a fireplace was a must, as was our being able to light a beach fire as the "grand finale" for my extended family's visit. My 85 yr old mom was with us and that was the one thing she kept talking about. How she remembers lighting beach fires in Howard Beach Queens during the winters when she was growing up. So we dug a fire pit on the beach and stacked some wood next to it. Then I get a text from the manager (who I guess was watching me from one of the security cameras) telling me "fires are not allowed in the off season". Everyone was bummed out, especially my mom. I was pissed but bit my tongue as I carried the wood off the beach. Had the manager been honest and told me there was "no beach fires during the off season", I would have booked elsewhere. I felt like I was duped into booking this place which cost me a very pretty penny for three nights.
THE UGLY: When we first checked in (around 8pm) the place was freezing so we cranked the heat. The next morning I get a text from the manager (who monitors the thermostat from afar) and I am told I need to cut back the thermostat so we don't run out of heating oil. I mean, really? For what I paid for this place, I should have a full tank of heating oil and be able to run the thermostat where ever it makes my family comfortable. Before we left I get another text from the manager with a photo of my truck (obviously taken from one of the homes security cameras) with a half cord of wood in the back (for the fireplace & a beach fire) telling me they were "concerned with my having so much wood". This creeped us out and made us feel like Big Brother was watching our every move. Besides that, I feel it is none of their damn business how much wood I have in the back of my truck, especially after being told to keep the thermostat at a "conservative" temperature. Would I stay here again or recommend it to a friend? Negative.

Overall a very good experience. The rental process was pretty seamless and the property management folks were very responsive. The kitchen and appliances were top notch. Washer and dryer was in the garage but worked well. Kayaks, bikes and fishing gear was readily available. The view was breathtaking, the beach deck was very roomy. 4 steps down and you are on the beach. There were only a few negatives but worth mentioning so you come prepared. 1. The beds were all full size with firmnatresses. The shower worked very well but is small, tougher for a big person. There is an outside shower with hot and cold water which worked well. Bring extra paper towels and quality toilet paper if those are important to you. The furniture was clean and not old but also not comfortable. Coffee is there when you arrive but no condiments or paper goods from previous guests are not left for new guests so bring every consumable you need except salt and pepper. Missing some of the easy small things was not a big deal just irritating. I would stay here again but bring a mattress topper, all consumable goods, and a source for music.
