"It is a 5 block walk to New York City’s mass transit system. The train to downtown Manhattan is an approximately 45 min ride. Beautiful views of the skyline and breathtaking sunsets. 5 - 10 mins to Rockaway Beach.Sleeps 6/8. 3 bedroom waterfront house with 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath on 1st floor. 2nd-floor full bath, shower and jacuzzi 3rd-floor full bath, shower. host # 917-346-9539
There is FIOS Wireless Internet, & TV with 43"" flat screen, & iPod docking station." This neighborhood consists of single-family homes, public parks which include with handball and tennis courts. Small boats can be rented at a local fishing station within walking distance. Guests may visit the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge which is a 15-minute walk. A 5 to10 minute bus ride will bring guests to Rockaway Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Rockaway Beach is one of New York City’s public beaches where you can enjoy swimming, surfing and surf fishing.
Lifeguards are on duty from late May through early September. There are towels & sheets; however, they are not changed daily. There are also cooking utensils, etc. dish & hand soap. Small grocery stores within walking distance. There is one queen and 2 twins 3rd floor sleeps 4 There is a queen or twin beds in one bedroom 2nd floor and a queen bed in other 2nd floor bedroom sleeps 4 Total 8 I can also supply Queen air bed if needed.

This was a hidden gem. Michael was very accommodating and answer any questions that we had about the city and transportation to different sites. We will definitely be back.

Lovely place to relax! I spent many hours sitting on the deck enjoying the water views, city skyline, and beautiful sunsets! The house is a good layout, with comfortable beds and a jacuzzi tub in one of the bathrooms, which was a nice treat. The living room area is on the small-side, but who cares when you can be enjoying your time outdoors. I liked that a handful of stores were walking distance and the beach is a quick car ride away. Mike is a hospitable host and will make sure that you enjoy your stay.

Michael was an amazing host! He was available for questions and helpful tips at any time! He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable! The house is amazing and the view could not be any better! It's the perfect location in a great neighborhood! If you pass this place up you are definitely missing out!
