Woodland House at Lake George is truly lovely, a dream of a house, where you will feel at home the minute you walk in. Though there are 49 acres of woods behind it, the house is only 200 feet from the highway--you are not far from civilization! With four really spacious bedrooms and four full baths, it sleeps ten comfortably.

Everyone loves its bright woodwork interior, the unusually well-equipped kitchen, the Ping-Pong, the private hiking trail out back that leads you to fine views of the lake and mountains, and especially its total privacy.
Children and pets are totally welcome. Reliable WiFi, central heat and air conditioning; gas-fired woodstove. Large pantry; washer and dryer.
Things to do in Lake George.
Beaches only 4 miles north; boat rental one mile away.
There are two public beaches 4 miles to the north in Bolton Landing and another two in the Village of Lake George. We supply several beach chairs for your use at the beach. There are several marinas on Lake Shore Drive where guests may rent a boat. All are within a 10-minute drive. The house itself has no direct lake access.

Great Place for our Group
Comfortable place to stay for a large group of people. Lots of room to hang-out and visit. Everyone really appreciated the 4 bathrooms! We had one minor maintenance issue, which Melissa (the owner) took care of immediately. Excellent communication with the owner. We enjoyed the private hiking trail too!

Yes, it is very important to me that my guests feel comfortable and confident that if something goes wrong I will do all I can to fix it right away. It helps to live just 2 miles away. Plus, I have good plumbers and contractors to call on who also respond quickly.
Lovely Lake George vacation
We had a fun week in Lake George! Nice, cool house. Had a great time playing ping pong and there was plenty of room for jigsaw puzzles, games, meals, etc.

Yes, there are so very many wonderful things to do and good restaurants and gorgeous scenery right close. And I certainly do try to respond without delay to any problems or questions you have.. That's part of trying to give you the best vacation I can. Living close by is an advantage to us both.

Sweet cozy home great location
It was super clean which I really appreciated. Melissa, was very communicative and kind. The home was very cozy and perfectly located to lake George village or Bolton landing. It was just my partner and I, but it would be a great spot to bring friends along as well.

Felt like home
Melissa was very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to bring our four legged children which very few places allowed. The property was great since we were able to do a private hike with our dogs. The house had all the accommodations we needed. Would definitely stay again. The location was ideal too. Not not far from the village far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet.
