Standing tall on the shores of Owasco Lake, the Lake House combines all the amenities families could want: premium four-season waterfront access, 60 feet of private, level lakefront, air conditioning, large kitchen and dining room, panoramic windows and doors, and close proximity to town and outdoor activities.

You have access to the entire house and property during your stay. There are parking spots in front of the house and across the private road.
We want to provide our guests with the Lakeside vacation experience and hospitality that is second to none. Our design choices were made with family gatherings and the guest experience in mind. Guests get the cozy cottage experience with all the perks of modern amenities, maximized functionality, and detailed touches.
This is one of the best spots on the lake. Whether you want to swim, kayak, boat, fish, make your way to the cove, or just relax - you can do it all from here.
We have kayaks, water toys, and life jackets available for use, at your own risk (there is no lifeguard). As with most lake houses, there is no fence between the yard and the water.
Our home has panoramic windows and doors facing the water so even if the weather is not cooperating, you can still enjoy the view. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king sized bed, closet, electric fireplace, and wireless phone chargers. There is a luggage rack for your convenience and a mounted smart TV, should you wish to login to your favorite streaming service. The master has large windows to take in the morning sunrise, and blackout curtains should you wish to sleep in!
Upstairs you will also find another King room and a Queen. Each with their own smart TV, luggage rack, and electric fireplace. There is also a full bathroom upstairs with walk in shower.

The large Dining Area features a large table with comfortable seating for 10 while you have a view of the water. You are situated within an open concept between the dining room, living room, and kitchen for ease of conversation and fun.
There are multiple seating areas should you wish to spread out a bit, and several games for little ones (or big ones!) to play.
Next to the kitchen you will also find a beverage fridge for all of your adult beverages, or capri-sun alike. Help yourself to the wine glasses, cups, or even try out the Shot Paddle.
You can’t find a better spot to vacation than the west side of Owasco Lake. There are so many things to do and see in this area! Upon booking, a digital guidebook will be sent so you can see some of our favorite things to do!

This is a fairly quiet neighborhood, almost everyone is a year-round resident. This is the perfect spot to relax on your own piece of Owasco Lake. You will find 60’ of private lakefront that ensures you can take in all the beauty the lake has to offer without an obstructed view.
We also own the Cottage at Poplar Cove, which is 2 houses down from this one. Book them both together to sleep up to 16!

Policies
SMOKING: There is no smoking/vaping allowed on the property. This is for the consideration of guests that may follow you and for the protection of the property.
PETS: One small dog is allowed, per a conversation and approval by the homeowner before booking. No puppies please. In your booking inquiry, please indicate size and breed. We ask that the outdoor area be free from waste before departure, and that the dog does not get on the furniture/bedding so as to minimize allergens for the next guest. There will be a $250 non-refundable charge for your pet as additional cleaning and sanitizing will be required in between guests.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours start at 11:00pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors as many are full time residents.
CLEANING: We have a cleaning team who will clean in between guests, but please pick up after yourselves. This is our second home with many quality upgrades and furnishings. Enjoy our home, but realize it is a home and not a hotel room. We kindly ask that you treat it with care.

Welcome! We are Lauren and Jeff Smith, and with our two daughters - couldn't be more happy to share our home with you!
We live 30 minutes from the Holiday, but our love for this lake came several years ago when we were kayaking with our girls. It was a hot day and we saw these adorable cottages along the shoreline and said "someday we would love to have one of those for our family!" The opportunity presented itself, and we haven't turned back, even spending weekends here ourselves. We knew we wanted to share this with other families, to help them make memories just as we have. We wanted to offer our guests a home-like experience, so we renovated, furnished, and equipped it with quality furnishings, bedding, and decor. We don't want our guests to feel like they are in an ordinary rental, we want you to feel at home during your stay. Our goal is that by always focusing on you, we will be able to build a legacy of beautiful memories.

A perfect place to reconnect with those you love
From the moment we arrived at Holiday on Owasco, it was clear that this lake house was something truly special.
I was looking for a place to take my wife for our anniversary that would give her an experience where we could feel disconnected from the outside world and just connect she and I.
This place created the perfect backdrop to do just that.
As soon as we stepped inside, we were wowed by what was clearly a very well thought out design experience. My wife described it as a perfect balance between modern chic and cozy comfort (she loves design magazines lol). Unlike many lake houses that lean towards the kitschy side, Holiday on Owasco exuded a sense of elegance without sacrificing that "home away from home feel and you are clearly at a lake house" vibe.
Every detail in the house seemed to be curated with intention for relaxing and unwinding. Like they had a big Tic Tac Toe magnetic board but these really comfy cushions right by them so you could play but not have to awkwardly bend down.
The living area, with its plush cushions and soft blankets, invited us to unwind and relax. It was the ideal spot to cuddle up and enjoy the serene lake views, which were visible from the expansive windows that framed the living space.
What truly set Holiday on Owasco apart was the feeling of tranquility and privacy it offered. The quiet surroundings allowed us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with each other. Each moment here felt like a little piece of paradise.
Honestly, the Holiday on Owasco is more than just a lake house – it's a vacation sanctuary. This was perfect for our romantic getaway but we could easily see how a family could have days of fun here tool
