The space:
We want to provide our guests with the cottage vacation experience and hospitality that is second to none. Our design choices were made with family gatherings and the guest experience in mind. Vacationers get the cozy cottage experience with all the perks of modern amenities, elevated luxury, maximized functionality, and detailed touches. This is one of the best spots on the lake. Whether you want to swim, kayak, boat, fish, make your way tot he cove, or just relax - you can do it all from here.
You will have over 100’ of lakefront to enjoy and will have your own private dock. There are tables and chairs on the large deck, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs by the water for your enjoyment. There is also a gas grill available for your use. We have two (2) kayaks, a canoe, and life jackets available for use, at your own risk (there is no lifeguard). The home has a level side yard and two (2) acres in back which adds to your privacy. This home was remodeled in 2021 with a bright, airy, and modern feel. WiFi included.
Our home has panoramic windows facing the water so even if the weather is not cooperating, you can still enjoy the view. Inside, the master bedroom has a king sized bed, large closet, and wireless phone chargers on both sides of the bed. There is a luggage rack for your convenience and a mounted smart TV should you want to login to your Netflix, Hulu etc. accounts.
The master bathroom offers a full sized tub/shower and new fixtures. The landing area upstairs is a great space for kids to hangout as it contains a smart TV and several games. There is also a twin over twin trundle which can be used as a couch, or beds. The upstairs bedroom contains a queen bed and full bed, along with a closet and luggage rack. Also upstairs is a portable AC unit and a full bathroom.
Guest access:
You have access to the entire house and 2.5 acre property during your stay. There are several private parking spots for your vehicle(s) and there is room on the lawn for a boat trailer. The entire property between the house and the main road is yours during your stay.

LARGE GROUPS: Our home sleeps 8. Parties, events, and large gatherings are not allowed. We expect occupancy numbers on the reservation to be accurate.
SMOKING: There is no smoking allowed on the property. This is for the consideration of guests that may follow you and for the protection of the property.
PETS: One small dog is allowed, per a conversation and approval by the homeowner before booking. No puppies please. In your booking inquiry, please indicate size and breed. We ask that the outdoor area be free from waste before departure, and that the dog does not get on the furniture/bedding so as to minimize allergens for the next guest. There will be a $250 non-refundable charge for your pet as additional cleaning and sanitizing will be required in between guests.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours start at 11:00pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors as many are full time residents.
CLEANING: We have a cleaning team who will clean in between guests, but please pick up after yourselves. This is our second home with many quality upgrades and furnishings. Enjoy our home, but realize it is a home and not a hotel room. We kindly ask that you treat it with care.

Beautiful cottage right on the lake. Amazing sunrises. You can't ask for a better location. Kayaks and canoe were great and easy to launch from the dock. Perfect for family gatherings!

A wonderful lake house with everything you will need for a great vacation
A wonderful lake house with everything you will need for a great vacation, from kayaks to a fire pit. Lauren and Jeff also provide a guide book that helps you find what you need around town, from groceries to museums. A quiet place, easy to relax and unwind. Teen age kids also loved it, especially the kayaks and swimming. A great place to stay if you are visiting upstate NY!
